  oh and the 2 games are NFS pro streets and Halo 3 but im pretty sure you can swap these around if you wer to go into HMV after u have it with reciept and still sealed.

  hmv will not allow student discount on consoles and will therefore not process

  i used my girlfriends and it looked a newer one, white plastic with red design, i think. you may actually have to get it from hmv and it might work in some other shops. not 100% sure, definitely worked though.

  To get the 15% it must be a card that has not been registered online yet. (I got a brand new one in-store)
  To be safe I made a new account and entered in the card ID during the sign up process.
  
  Then once signed up, add the xbox to your basket and go to checkout. You'll see you've only got 10% discount. To get 15% you then enter the same card ID in the "promotional" box and NOT the "student" box.

  Thanks Mclovin, keep me updated if you like through PM, and I shall do the same. I agree 'by X-mas' is unhelpfully vague, can't believe everyone else has stock save for the entertainment giant that is HMV, it surely wasn't that good a deal (except for those few that managed to get it at £212.)

  Strangely, another unrelated item I ordered at the same time is in stock but still hasn't shipped, yet they are sending me Halo 3 on it's own!
