Is the S model, All the boxes where underneath the price. I just took the picture of the price as I am pretty sure people know how it looks the new XBOX 360 S. So rest assure that is the S model.

The old 250gb ones were called super Elite or something like that.

OK if you are a member already but would be kind of daft to get a membership just for this

just bought one from liverpool costco thanks

not a member but borrowed works costco card

Plus when you by something from Costco they are THE BEST for dealing with problems on purchases. Take back, hand to CS, refunded.

Personally I am looking to get a bargain Slim 4GB with Kinect deal. Will then mod a 250GB HDD for it to replace an ageing 360 Arcade with 120GB. This is the best price around for the 250GB if you don't want a games bundle though.

Won`t vote either way as there is better deals out there like HMV at Heathrow have the 250g Slim plus Fifa 11 for £188.

Just as many people pass through Heathrow as have Costco cards.
#20
If you're travelling internationally how do you get the xbox home? If buying from Heathrow do you have to take it with you or can they do some kind of storage deal until you get back?

I got mine in Argos for £180. It said in the catalogue £199 but came up £189, then i got a £10 gift card if you spend over £100
#23
wasnt there a deal posted for a 250 gig slim with mercenaries 2 from Asda for £188 surely that is a better deal :S

Lets think about that shall we - Costco membership allows you to return time and time again for 1 year for £25+vat... I don't ever recall a flight for that price that allowed me to pop back in whenever I fancied it and gave me as big a variety of goods to purchase as Costco, nor does it offer anywhere near the same level of customer service.

Otherwise you could use your argument to include it being cheaper in America if purchased in dollars because more people live there than have Costco cards........

This was available from Tesco Direct for £180 plus another £10 discount code not long back. Glad I took advantage!

The membership is £25 + vat = £29ish

Your mate must have added you as an additional card on his account which is about £14, I guess if he is an executive member he will be getting 2% back on all your purchases.

Is it just a year? I thought it was longer?

I know I got 5 years on my TV, thought consoles was 2-3 years warranty?

It is a bit cheaper at John Lewis (£189), but the Amazon deal you mention is the better deal. For £194 you get Forza 3 and Crackdown 2, a free HDMI video cable and the option to buy FIFA 11 for £10.
#32
Ok to clear up things about the warranty. Its 12 months standard with Microsoft.
If you are the memeber when you buy it, the warranty last for as long as you have your memebership.

I can vouch for how great their warranty is. I got all my money back after 3 years of having a tv when it broke and couldnt be fixed.

Costco is very good adn I have been a memeber since 1999.

This deal is in Trafford Park one and Oldham one too at this price.

why expired? I just passed by the Derby branch and they have plenty in stock! Also they have the Wii for 140 with Wii Resort.

I think you missed my point slightly. I wasn`t doing the angle of joe public who needs to book a flight at Heathrow or needs to buy a Costco card to get the Xbox.
I was mearly stating that I did not vote either way because I felt the HMV deal was better IMO and just as many, if not more people have the opportunity of being at Heathrow than have Costco cards, without needing to go out their way to aquire a deal.

I won`t comment regarding the America angle since I don`t want to go off topic on a hot UK deals site.
