Seems to be £19.99 most places now. play and game-instore have it at this price too, not sure if its selling.
Keep in mind you have to sign up with card details for the 1 month of sky, and remember to cancel after the month or you will be billed automatically the full price!
Still not a bad deal, considering you also get a remote thats sells for £19.99 alone, and 3 months of gold live thrown in!

Does the 1 month of Sky and 3 Months of Live come as individual codes?
#11
you guys need to look for a new shiny kettle deal.

There was the steamer too on offer at Sainsbugs - would that count as a shiny pot?

Yup! You get two separate cards with codes on them.

....."Live TV for Sky TV customers with Multiroom or Broadband Unlimited is free, otherwise £9.75/ month"..... does anyone understand this, cos I dont. We have multiroom, so does that mean we get this sevice free on the XBOX 360?? Sorry, if this is dumb question.......can anyone help?
#17
Happy, I am asking the same question, I have the full sky package on SkyHd and multiroom. i guess we can log in on the 360 my lad got today using the my sky passwords?
#18
My lad got a 360 too - this would be great if we could get this for gratis. I am not going to pay Sky another £9.75, they get enough out of us already! I have one reserved at Argos to collect tomorrow -

TIGER66, can you let me know if you get to the bottom of our question????? I will do likewise.... thanks

Sounds like you already have Sky. Your son should be able to get the channels through your subscription for no extra.

 Hi Happy, good news, logged onto sky player using 'my sky' details and it is all there, the planner, sky sports incl ESPn, movies etc. Makes my mammoth sub a bit more of value. Decent pic I just had of the ashes review on sports 2.
#21
one last question...... - do you reckon it will stream ok with the WiFi dongle?, or will it need to be hard wired? Thanks TIGER66!!
#22
Makes sense.

I figured the £19.99 was an actual sub to Sky but if you already need a subcscription it's a bit of a **** take, paying again.
#23
Hi again, mine streamed fine using the wireless dongle, and the 19.99 seems to be for the remote really, but I used the gaming controller with ease.

It is... well i'm guessing so since it states:

"This offer only applies to new Sky Player TV customers."

Technically it may work ok, but you may want to double check your charges. It may cost you a small fortune in connection charges if you watch it much.

I have unlimited broadband with my provider, so it should be no extra. Thanks for the advice all the same :santa:

anyone know if you can buy two of these and use with the same live ID?
i appreciate there would be some hassle involved in cancelling the sky contract and re-subbing later.
#28
Got mine, very good deal
#29
Any one got one of these?

With the free 1 month included in the pack, what channels do you get?

Do you get Sky Sports 2, 3 and Xtra?

What annoys me about the 1 month free sky code is you gotta give card details so they will bill you full amount in the hope you forget to cancel.
Would be so much better if they offered a pack at even £15-20 for sky, but it was just a scratch card code like xbox live is, kinda pay as you go!

Yes.

thanks repped

just got an xbox 360 super elite forza from amazon with the sky entertainment pack (get the remote and some free gold months for a decent saving)

got a ps3 in the lviing room already

this can go in the garage conversion to have a gaming console and media streamer for the projector and watch sky if needed on a smaller telly without running a new cable from the dish, drilling through dividing wall and buying another box and paying multiroom.

Cheers
