that will come in handy as people can take it into currys, pc world and get the price match and 10% price difference subject to whether the local tesco within a 10 mile radius has one in stock, best ringing your local tesco to see if they have one first if you want to buy from a store today.

Very tempting, but my 2 year+ 60gb console hasn't given me any problems, so apart from the new console using less power, there doesn't seem much reason to change. Might as well wait until the old one stops working..... who knows, there might be a new super-slim xbox out by then X)

Not yet, it's a good motion control device and quite innovative but you have to decide 3 things.

Are the games worth it? At least at the moment I'd say no (not saying there isn't stuff in the future coming though).

For now Kinect is a good idea that needs time to let the software show it off though.

Excellent offer. Just ordered Kinect on Friday from Zavvi deal. Wish I waited so I could have got them both with clubcard points! Now to sell the old console. Free listing weekend on eBay too :o)

Managed to sqeeze a Kinnect into the trolley as well without her noticing ;-).

Went to my Tesco, confirmed that the tills are showing up at the reduced rate even though they ticket still had the full price but was out of stock, went to comet and asked the to price match with a store that did have it in stock but refused even though on the site it says they will price match with Tesco, manager said that Tesco are selling at a loss and that the price promise means nothing, they don't have to match it if they don't want to. Called the Tesco store that had them in, nice guy put one aside for me, picked it up, all set up

EDIT: Forgot to mention Xbox Live are doing 12 months for £20 something plus 2 free games.....RESULT!

I made a complete fool of myself yesterday in out local Tesco, went for a browse, and saw the 4gb (i'm a girl and no hardcore online gaming for me) with the Kinect for £249.00 which is about the same price as everywhere else. Of course, I thought there was 20% off that as well as the stand said 20% off consoles including Kinect. Queued up, went through at £249, and was told it's only on the ones in the stand. I had a moan and said it doesn't say selected lines only, so started to raise an official complaint at customer services when a manager can over and said they'd honour the 20% as a goodwill gesture as it isn't clear, few vouchers and a big of jiggery pokery later £174.76 for a 4gb and kinect, so I am well happy. So although it has nothing to do with the original post, thanks anyway, and hot hot hot from me!!!

You sometimes get vouchers/coupons printed with your receipt when paying for your shopping instore, sometimes they have a code for online use sometimes not....consequently mine hasn't !
