This deal is slightly different from one posted before... You can now add FIFA 11 to the deal !!!
Also the deal is meant to be £249.98 now (as prices went up with VAT etc) however if you add to you're basket:

Xbox 360 Slim console with 4gb HD & kinect
HDMI Cable
Crackdown 2
FIFA 11

Once you get to the final checkout screen (before you hit confirm)
discount is applied and total is £239.99 - FREE Shipping too !

- So in other words you buy the Xbox and kinect for £229 and for an extra £10 you get Crackdown 2 + FIFA 11 + HDMI cable !!!

Not sure how long Amazon will keep it like this, sure they might fix the price back to £249 soon so act fast ! - I just bought (11:35am) and gone through/confirmed at £239.99)

I've been thinking of getting one of these for a while now. Not really a football person, just want the Kinect Adventures! Looks good though, heat added! Thanks :)

No worries... yeah was in the same boat, have been waiting for a deal in a while.. was guna buy last week when was this price and diff selection of games but prices went up with the VAT hike etc.. So then the Amazon bundle was £249 and no option to add the New FIFA 11. I guess this bundle is great for footie fans and esp whilst at £239.. im sure Amazon will correct this soon though and will be back up to near £250.. grab em while ya can I say.

No didnt come with games, the only other option was argos who did the same bundle + 1 kinect game for £229, i went for morissons as Argos didnt have any good kinect games in stock and i would have saved any ££ anyway!

Guys, I've found this one, don't think it comes with an HDMI cable (but you can get one for 2 quid) what do you think?

Xbox 360 4gb Console + Kinect + Kinect Adventures Bundle

Fleabay are doing this deal as well (not quite as good as teh original post though imo)

this is not a bad deal, sell fifa to cex for £16 and crackdown 2 for £7 so this works out £217,

alternatively trade in at gamestation who will beat cex by £1 and you'll get £22 for fifa and £11 for crackdown 2

3rd option is to check out Asda as normally they give really good trade in prices for games and you can use the money on anything in Asda

They also used to have "Your Shape: Fitness Evolved" as part of the deal too. Should have bought it then :(

In fact, it is worse than last night. They did have Kinectimals and another sports game in the deal

Good deal this. I bought Kinect with Kinect Adventures and Dance Central from Game for £129.00 a couple of weeks ago. Got it set up and had literally played for 10 minutes before my old launch Xbox red-ringed! So been trying to find a decent price for a new console! Ripping, as could have taken advantage of these sorts of deals!

wow that was a good deal for the kinect £129 with advetures and dance central, do they still do this deal ?
#13
It's a shame that they are not doing better deals for the sensor bars only. The best deals seem to be with the 4GB console

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be on their website anymore, actually bought it after seeing the deal on here!

Do the HDDs just clip on in the same way as the old 360s? Seems like a cheap way to get the HDD capacity up, without going down the 250GB console route. 4GB seems pitifully small for a HDD. Any issues with Xbox Live?

I ask because I've just fixed a RROD on my launch 360 for the second time, so I don't think the old dog is gonna last very much longer. :(

As far as im aware the DX hdd's work just like the OEM ones, fitment and are formatted in the correct file system etc...
I would read some reviews on DX, ive ordered the slim 250gb hdd but its not here yet!

are these micrsoft hdd's ? or dx own brand ? only reason I ask is that I read somewhere about peopel using non MS HDD's could face a ban from xbox live, may just be a load of bull ? My sons 4gb needs a 250gn hdd, so I currently looking for the cheapest upgrade for him.
#19
I doubt they will be authentic HDD's from DX, most are copys in authentic looking packaging.
I dont think M$ can ban you for using it tho? If you plug in a normal USB portable HDD they are ok with it, how would they know the difference?

Clearly M$ doesn't like people using third-party storage devices. Whether it's grounds for banning from Xbox Live is another matter though...

I still have this deal in my basket from yesterday :S

Can you add a 250 GB Xbox hard drive to this like you can with the other 360's?
#25

nope..This new deal has FIFA 11 but most importantly There is a price clitch where you get the 2 extra games and HDMi for £10 extra !
#26
I thought the 4gb was internal memory, rather than a hard drive?
#27
4GB is internal memory on FLASH, YOU CAN add a HDD to the 4GB model.
M$ do sell the official 250gb HDD for the xbox as an addon but its about £80ish
#28
I think the Kinect Sports deal (Xbox 4GB + Kinect + Kinect Adventures + Kinect Sports + Crackdown 2/Alan Wake + HDMI cable) @ £247.68 is better for Kinect users in my opinion

In the other deal, you also get 2 extra games and a HDMI cable for £10 extra. The addition of Fifa 2011 to the choices hardly makes it worth a repost...

You can just get an enclosure for £6 and stick any old 360 hdd in it 20gb, 60 gb, 120 gb 250 gb. I did this with a 120gb 360 drive I got from Blockbuster works perfectly, you can either just plug it directly in using a bit of padding or get an enclosure for £6 from the usual places.

Also remember you can use any usb stick or hdd up to an extra 32 gb giving you 32gb in total. You can use as many usb devices as you like 32gb usb sticks are £20 or less from 7 day shop.

Most people wont use that much space in reality most live down loads are 1gb or less. I have had a 360 since launch and am a heavy user I have still only used 70gb on my hdd and there is loads of stuff I cold delete.

Basically anyone that has played on our Kinect has either gone out and bought one and a 369 console if required anyone else has said they are getting one. Its that good. We couldnt get the kids off it over Christmas. 4 of us adults spend hours just playing the football penalty game on Kinects sports. Highly addictive. The dance game is great for the girls, sports and adventures are very good as well.

Not bad considering the only decent game on the wii for a long time was the launch sports game. They sold 5 million of these worldwide in the run up to Christmas its been a big success for ms.
