Does this apply to the consoles too? :?

"These games are Preowned and as such they may appear slightly blemished. However we carry out quality checks on all stocks prior to it being sold.

For your peace of mind: All Games are in full working order and are covered under our 28 Day Returns Guarantee!"

Also, you might want to put pre-owned in the title.

I take it all of these would have been used, but good price:)

Preowned
#4
not a bad price i had a pre owned console turned up with rrod got it changed next day though
#5
do these come with HDMI?
#6
They have a HDMI port but no cable I believe, good ol' Microsoft :whistling:

These are ancient and may not even be pre-owned as such, returns, old stock, damaged boxes etc.. The additional advantage of selling them as pre-owned means they can offer a minimal guarantee which is good for them because these are the old motherboards and highly likely to suffer the dreaded RROD.

They might be a good punt at half this price but I'd steer well clear.

So they have a limited warranty? Where did you get the info from?

Didn't think the halo editions came with anything other than 60gb hard drives!

Very odd.

Actually, the halo 3 special edition is meant to be one of the most reliable xbox 360's out there and far less likely to RROD then the regular consoles released at the similar time, hot from me, was considering one of these myself at one point, from zavii ages ago but alas it was sold out and now I have one already

the halo edition gets a direct FTP via the bungie servers for free games streamed to the console
the hard drive is just to store you game saves

There is no source, as its just a repackaged elite console.

Thats so good, i didnt realise that till you posted. Rep for you. Just ordered one for the free games......
#16
Well I fancy one so have ordered. Great price.
#17
These also have the older motherboards making them prone to RROD. (Remember that these came out over 2 years ago).
#18
IIRC these are very old, first generation 360s.
#19
I am not really bothered about the machine itself I already have a newish 60gb and a mw2 super elite on order. Really I wanted the controller, headset and play and charge kit. I might see if its possible to swap out the internals from my 60gb into it and the 60gb drive into the 20gb enclosure as I really like the case design on this. £100 is cheap for this TBH if you see what the controllers and headsets go for.

I will see what turns up and the condition, if its banged up and knackerd I will just send it back. As someone else pointed out you never know your luck might end up with a new one.

According to other forums cant play blue rays or hd dvd.

The XBOX 360 gaming system currently does not have the ability to play Blu-Ray discs. It can, with a seperately purchased external drive, play HD-DVD. HD-DVD being dead, the drive is not worth the purchase. There are rumors of Microsoft adding Blu-Ray compatibility, likely through another external drive, some time down the line.:x

Just thought i'd share some info! I had one of these from when they just came out. I just got a voucher to replace it, so luckily not lumbered with a pre owned console!

Anyway, this xbox suffered from the E74 error (GFX problem). This was once after a year, and the next a few months later. Not too reliable. But as stated the design is amazing, but the console will not last so it will be a waste of money.

halo 3 xbox 360s have a falcon chipset with a better heat sink wheras the ones before had a xenon chipset. source - google it!

well yer pays yer money and takes yer chance - I just don't think 28 days cover for this sort of money is a good bet.

As I say though GAME staff are reasonable (locally) so can't fault GAME as such, the offer is plain for all to see.

Anyway looks like it has expired so academic discussion only now.
#27
Still available so why Expired ?
#28
Its Not Actually Available anymore thats why it has expired, as when you click the add to basket link a couple of times then it gives you the message sorry, out of stock
#29
LOL your right. Says in stock but dose not put in basket.
#30
**** I didnt get one, really wanted for a project strip out the internals and retro fit the inards of my August 08 Jasper plus clone my MW2 250gb drive and effectively make a halo 3 super elite. Never mind will have to try and get one on fleabay.
