Granted a 250GB is probably a bit of overkill on storage space, but 20GB is no longer enough.

Having had a 20GB for 3 years I really struggle to keep 7GB available to have just one disk installed. The 60GB has been discontinued, the 120GB is on its way out, so soon 250GB will be the only size available.

As to the deal itself, the selection of games is poor. While the games are good fun, Crackdown, Halo 3 and Mass Effect are all very old games for the 360, and can each be found for £5-10 easily in most games stores. Forza 3 is currently in deals for about £15. If you want those games, then great, but if you were looking to trade them in to reduce the cost of the deal, you will get very little for them.

[QUOTE=tragictramp]what can u do on an xbox with 250gb?, ive voted hot btw!

For me i use the space to install all my games direct to the hard drive, thus increasing the life of my xbox as the disc spins for a second on initial start up as appossed to near constant spinning. This also has an affect on how annoyed the missus gets with the old it's too loud chessnut.Well not anymore luv quiet as a mouse:roll:

Seems an ok price although they are old games less Forza 3,still heat added

I save all my games to the hard drive on mine...therefore the dvd drive is not getting worn out!

Makes playing the games a LOT quieter, and in some cases they run smoother too :)

If anyone has usb storage devices from 6th april you can use a usb device to store game data, profiles, demos, add-on's etc etc. You can have upto 16gb on one usb device, but you can use 2 at the same time. so potential of 32gb.

posted on majornelsons blog.

Details here

When your on the xbox dashboard and looking at what ever game is in the drive instead of pressing A to start the game. press Y and you should see an option to install disc to Hard drive. Once this is done each time you play that game it will spin the disc for a couple of seconds just to check its a real copy and will then run off your Hard drive, Thus increasing the life of your console and i guess it will use slightly less power:thumbsup:
