Give me a deal for this at £7.99 and I MAY consider...

Shame on you Microsoft.
suspended#3
its not even worth 7.99 - lowest 802 band you can get, you wouldn't be able to give this away if it was for the pc
#4
The above are telling the truth. What a waste of money! But... that is rather cheap at the current market.

If you want to save money just plug an ethernet cable into your laptop port which contains a wireless adapter.

haha "now only" ............

A bit harsh though to give the OP cold votes, as a deal on the official adaptor it is a good price, the fact that Microsoft charge to much for it is another argument!

Sorry mate, you are talking GARBAGE!!! You are clearly a PC gamer, I actually have this adapter (paid £34 before christmas from Game) so am probably in a better position to comment!!.

For anyone actually interested in this, bear in mind that regardless of the PC stalwarts commenting here it has been designed for the 360. I had my reservations but its very, very good and mine has never dropped connection, moreover it performs EXACTLY like wired.

Just because it doesn't rival new PC technology does not make it rubbish, lets face it, the 360 is miles behind modern PC's in terms of power BUT its still way better as a games platform than a PC that needs a new component everytime a new game comes out!! Please, please dont listen to people who are blinkered, if you are currently running a wired connection, this is great!!

Yeah, lets save money by buying a £300 laptop instead of a £39 adaptor  (unfortunately not EVERYONE has a laptop m8!!:whistling:)

This is NOT a good deal, this is an overpriced accessory, cheaply made and does NOT represent good value for money or a 'deal' so COLD!

Don't fall for this price folks - don't buy it and they will soon lower the price.

Agree... however, do you think a Ferrarri costs £100,000 to build??? Does a £150,000 house cost £150,000??? Does a DVD cost £10 to manufacture??? ANSWER = NOPE!!!! Yes its overpriced BUT it was even more overpriced at £60, I very much dount this will ever reach your idea of what its worth (even though you are probably over pricing it at that considering a wireless adaptor for the PC can be bought for less than £2 now!!)

What he's saying is that if you don't buy it they will drop the price, which he's probably right..... but you could say the same about anything!!

Why don't you just use you connect a cable to your laptop wifi from your 360. Its good free wifi alternative.

I just set mine today, works perfectly

Simple!! Because not EVERYONE has one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have mine running on the microsoft adaptor and it's never done anything other than work perfectly out of the box. My son has his running through his laptop and it was tricky to set up and constantly needs the laptop re booting to get the connection never mind having to have it turned on in the first place!
I just don't get all you cold voters, voting cold because the thing is overpriced. Yes I agree IT IS, but currently as a deal on the official adaptor it is a good deal.

Have you ever owned a netgear wireless adapter?

They are cheap, nasty, and break within months in many cases.

The point of HUKD is not to comment on the ins and outs of the product but whether the price is a good one for the specific product in the grand scheme of things. Can you show a link to another way to get wireless into your xbox for less than ~£41?

I would very much doubt it.

Netgear are fine - what planet are you on?

HDUK is all about value for for money. That is why I have voted cold.
