People who game on PC, people who still use 360 to play non backwards compatable games and people who can't afford to buy the latest games console maybe? The Nintendo NES came out in 1985 and people still play them. Not quite sure why this is so strange to you.

This is very odd to me... i get the pc thing tho. makes sense... and i dont think people play NES anymore. I download the roms and emulators but havent pulled my Nes outta attic for many years...

Nintendo just released a mini version preloaded with 30 games and people are buying them. You have to think of younger generations as well that never got to play the old classics.
