Yes Zavvi can be trusted. I ordered 2 games off them this week and some MS points and all arrived within a couple of days. Now they have been taken over they have become good and reliable at last.

Old news, but this is how MS make money. The good old business plan they use is to subsidise the main hardware to build up a customer base, then make money back everywhere else.

zavvi.co.uk = thehut group now, not zavvi entertainment, so, yes, as much as the hut can be.

The blurb mentions a Media Center PC.. do you have to have one of these to play it, or just one with media sharing in WMP enabled like if you have a cabled connection to your 360?

haha microsoft will never be even close to megan fox hot

i personally think this is just a ripoff so i'll keep the vote to myself, this is why i stick to pc gaming...just like why i stick with pc against mac...not paying ridiculous money for stuff just because it's part of the "brand"

Unlike new graphics cards which you need to update every time a new game comes out of course :whistling:

xbox resolution is at half if not less the resolution that i play on my monitor so...the "frenzy" where people change their graphics cards when a new game comes out is because they want to play at massive resolution with max details...

so think again you play xbox360 on a TV with 640x480 or in the hd resolution 1280 x 720, my almost 2 year old graphics card that cost £100 then will still play the games that you play at xbox resolutions just fine, it's not a direct comparison, it's just in a different league and it's a personal prefference, if i want to play on a 32" tv i'll use tv out, if i want to hold a controller i'll buy a usb joy pad...but let's not remember the battering the xbox players took from pc players when they were joined online in call of duty :whistling:

so again...£35 for a crappy wireless usb controller is just a ripp off in my eyes...just like apple charges £50 for the DVI/VGA to their own monitor connection

please get off the hype train...

Who cares about resolution?!?! Surely gameplay is more important? Your 2yr old £100 card wont play any of the new games in hi-res like you say so whats your point as you wont be playing hi-res anyway?!?

My point is that to keep up with modern games you have to invest in rip-off cards that halve in value every month, whereas this may be a rip off but its a one off as the tech will never change until the next gen consoles come out. One way or the other we all get ripped off but as with kissenger, your post was pointless on this thread and I fail to understand why you people bother to post when all you want to do is troll :whistling:

Heres a tip. Next time when it says "XBOX 360" in the title, you just try to avoid that "comment" button, theres plenty of PC related threads yet you dont see many 360 owners butting in "how expensive... yada, yada, yada..".

PS, its not a "controller" is a wireless adaptor, and Im not a train, I just UNDERSTAND that some things are worth paying that little bit extra for!

I hate to butt in, but I asked a 360 related question in a 360 related thread, so if anyone does know the answer..

(In the meantime, I'm fairly convinced not one single person has ever changed their opinion as a result of a fanboy debate. If you like PCs use a PC, if you like 360s use a 360. I'm also aware me saying this will also change nothing, and the debate will rage pointlessly forever)

The Xbox 360 can output at 1080p you know. As another person has said, it's a Wireless adapter not a controller. Some USB Dongles are around the same price.

Media Center is optional, you can stream movies and music using a USB thumb drive if needed. You don't need anything extra to play it. I have my PC, Xbox 360 and router all setup in the same room, with all devices connected to the router via Ethernet cables. I use the Windows Media Center to stream stuff over from my computer(Vista Premium) because it's the easiest way.

Thanks cookieboy.. but in the end, I still can't give Microsoft all that money. I've bought a 20m lead from eBay for £5 delivered.

Price has gone up to £59.99 now!

Hopefully I've managed to get one. Dunno if I'll use it though.... I still have to pay out for Xbox Live.
