I bought one to stop the current fights over which controller is whos (so am hoping that the controller is white as I already have black ones). Thanks for posting.

This is an amazing price, and even though I wasn't gonna buy one, it infuriates me that one douche ruins it for 280 other people.

utter utter ****.

Great deal original poster.

Who would buy 280? It's a good price for someone buying one but it's hard to see the value in a bulk buy. As I understand it, the two games may be a double pack bundle in a single box.

Wanted to get this for my nephew. 280 copies greedy ******!!!!
#12
More than likely an independent store bought them to sell on higher.

**** scummers
#13
They should limit it to say 5 per customer to give other people a chance.

Well he can put the controllers back on eBay for BIN £20 (effectively making the money back he paid) and then make extra selling/trading in the other games. If he makes £10 on each he's looking at a £2k+ profit.

Shame people have to ruin it for others... I would have def bought one of these :(

Cant see a massive profit in 280 the white controllers aint as popular as they used to be either.
#16
thanks OP for posting this.

Shame someone else bought the whole lot but good luck to him/her. Could have left a few for others to enjoy..

thanks anyway

I don't know if anyone else agrees but it looks like these games are a double pack in a single box. I see new copies going for 10 quid on ebay. Obviously though the drip feed sell of those on ebay would be ridiculously slow and how good a price can he do them for?

The controllers will probably sell although the more money he tries to extract, the slower the sales.

TBH if I bought 280, selling the controllers at a happy rate on ebay for 16 quid each and the games for 10 I doubt I'd make much of a profit at all and it would take years to get rid of the games.

Agree he will still be selling these next xmas............. & not the most popular colour controller now, cant see much profit to be honest.

God knows why someone bought 280! If they resell on Ebay then most of the modest profit will be eaten by their fees (and Paypal fees).

Exactly. You couldn't shift them in a boutique high street business, a major high steet retailler would get more stock cheaper and be selling them for 20 quid a pop (cough argos) and games just don't shift in those volumes on ebay. And this is under the assumption that the same deal is not going to become a frequent presence on ebay and on the high street anyway.

I may be wrong but I just find it funny to think that whoever bought that deal has been duped by the argos advertisment into thinking the games are individual units.
#21
The [email protected], I reckon they will break them up and sell them individually on Ebay at bargain prices and eventually shift the lot.

Its a bit early in the day for me to calculate exactly but it seems like they have spent over 5 grand oO
#22
I bet they're reading this thread now and getting a little bit of buyers remorse when they realise they'll take aaaaages to shift. X)

Thanks to the original poster at least.
#23
I hope the buyer gets stuck with them and makes a loss :(
#24
Once fees, paypal and other costs come into it theyll have nothing for profit, also the more gets put on ebay the more the average value falls, the games arent worth that much as it is, good luck to them. Also for the profit against labour used to deal with these it wouldnt be worth it
#25
I bet the courier is going to be well pleased.
#26
Would have bought one if not for that idiot.
Thats the one problem with a website like this. There's always someone who spoils it for others.

If that person's reading this I'll buy one off ya for £15 so you can get one shifted in the next 2 years lol Otherwise good luck shifting it.

It is a strong probability that the buyer saw the deal on this board - if you are reading this then you will know that most people think you will not make money - I tend to agree. The games are not worth that much and will be difficult to sell - 280 of them on ebay will saturate the market and you will not shift them - the same with the remotes. This seller normally has more stock – they will list some more at £20 which will mean that you will be undercut.

Can I recommend that you contact the seller and agree a more sensible order - I am sure they will agree due to the unusual order. You will not be able to sell these for a long time - there is a lot of money tied up with an item that is not going to make you much money. I tried to sell this pack on ebay for approx £28 – took me ages and that was only one pack!

In addition I have bought of this company before - I ordered 50 Bluetooth headphones - only 15 worked - most were opened - and yes they stated they were brand new in their item description. So do not be surprised if you get boxed damaged items.

I hope the stack of WEP's falls on the buyers fat head and crushes him/her.
#29
he will be lucky to make a gross profit of £5 on each unit ..... poor value , little profit and a heck of alot of hassle and time getting rid of them .

While I agree that it's a little frustrating that many will miss out, do you really think Argos will care? If the offer was designed to attract new customers specifically, no doubt they would have limited the number of purchases per customer.

Otherwise, I bet the outlet is dead pleased that they got rid of so many in one go. I would be surprised if you get anything than a canned response.

I was right the seller has more stock - although price has gone upto £25.00 - the perosn who bought 200 plus is royally shaffted!
