Unlike PS3, 360 headset isn't bluetooth, so only this works as far as I know
There are replacement foam pads available for the hygiene side

Actually thats not correct there are quite a lot of wireless headsets for the 360 for the ultimate in quality these are probably the best and cheapest price I can find them-

Oh...cheers

This has come up a few times on HUKD and everyone has always said no on the threads I have read.....They looks good, pricey though..... would rather just ahve an earpiece myself, but good for those that want them
I humbly stand corrected
#21
Seems a good price if you can get the replacement pads. These headsets are quite good.

Only irritation is you cant charge it and use it at the same time.
#22
keep in mind that second hand headsets sometimes will not hold a long charge. i bought one fro, blockbuster a month back and it already is "dead " from turning it on. get the tell tail beeps

Love the 360 headset but be warned it can be a b**** to sync with old controllers.

i think they've fixed that issue - i have 2 of the oldest w/less controllers available [launch day] & the headset works perfect with them :)

Hi,

This is my first post.

In relation the replacement pads...does anyone know where to get them? Mine dropped off the other day and unfortunately got binned.

Great deal on the headset by the way! I may buy one as a spare when the other is charging. In regards to the quality it is superb! Never had a problem with it at all.

These aren't anything like the same kind of product as the one in question here though? These allow you to have all of the stereo audio output from the 360 (inc the headset) fed trough the headphones. They are no good where you actually want to hear audio from the TV speakers (and the nagging wife/kids etc) like the standard headsets are designed to do. These are wireless but they are not using the native wireless of the 360 but IR instead and do not give you wireless comms - the wire in the diagram is a bit of a giveaway.

Don't get me wrong, these are great and produce some of the best audio experience but they are just not the same thing. Sharkhoon also do a set that are full Dolby Digital 5.1 surround and also give you comms for around the same price.

Are you guys sure about this?

I just phone Gamestation and they said "Gamestation does not sell PREOWNED Xbox 360 wireless headsets, it is against health & safety regulations. I looked like such an Idiot

Guys, are you sure you can get these? Anybody actually got one except the poster? :whistling:

You mean the "ultimate console" doesnt allow bluetooth connection for headsets?

So your average 360 will have a huge power pack hanging off of it along with a wireless adapter for wi-fi, a wireless adapter for the headset, a couple of wireless adapters for the controllers, and a cumbersome hd-dvd player along with yet another over sized power pack, doesnt sound very "ultimate" to me.

If only there were a console that had all those things built in*, one day eh.....

*obviously replacing the defunct hd-dvd drive with a blu-ray player

I see your back on the 360 threads,(don't you ever read the PS3 ones?) firstly I said "THE ULTIMATE IN QUALITY HEADPHONES" what are you talking about "Ultimate consoles" no One said that?.

I don't have the small wi fi adapter that you think "STICKS" out so much as wireless in any form in a game console is **** and unreliable compared to direct cable connection so I use a CAT6 SUPER FLAT (1.4mm thick) by (6mm wide) and is 15m (50ft) long and can be hidden anywhere and ebuyer were doing them for about £3.

Other than the WI-FI adapter what wireless adapters are you talking about ? the 360 doesn't have wireless adapters for anything ?, the joypad controllers are wireless (360 done it first) and the headset we are talking about on this post is wireless with NO adapters so you really don't even know what you are talking about.

How is the power brick "HANGING" out the back of it when it comes with a long cable so it can be hidden away ?.

HD-DVD I don't have One of those and if I want to watch an HD film I just hire and download it from Xbox live very quickly to as it buffers and also of course no moving parts. And anyway otherwise I would just go the Sky hd route or if I wanted a Blu Ray player I would go for a separate such as the Samsung , I don't want a load of other noisy parts in the same case as my HD player causing interence it's a bit like buying a midi(all in 1) hi fi stereo compared to separates, the separates win every time with the sound quality

Samsung BD-P1400/XEU Blu-ray High Definition Player £199.99 Free Delivery

I don't need any HD player and nor do most people judging by the recent news that Blu ray sales are dropping drastically looks like people don't really care abour HD players outside the gaming world now doesent it.
http://news.cnet.com/8301-10784_3-9932311-7.html

I totally agree with this part -
"But more likely is what NPD's high-def video analysts have been harping on for a while: that DVD is "good enough" for most consumers. And that the picture offered by a Blu-ray Disc and accompanying player doesn't appear so overwhelmingly better than a standard DVD and an upconverting player that many consumers can't justify the dramatically increased cost".

I prefer this player with all these extras for £106 pounds rather than just a player that can do no recording or TV etc-

Dvd recorder with freeview HDMI out.
