A bit off topic, but i tried a direct connection between my xbox and laptop using a crossover cable, but it doesnt work.

IP addresses are assigned, but there is still a connection problem. I disabled my firewall (comodo) and also windows firewall, but it just doesn't want to work - any ideas/ solutions?

All i get is "limited connectivity" access "local"...........got a bit frustrated and gave up!!!!!

There's quite a few walkthroughs around for this, depending on what version of windows you are running.

I set mine up to run with windows 7, had a bit of trouble getting internet sharing to work, and even after it was all set up , sometimes it would work, othertimes it wouldn't.

I put it down to the fact that my internet was via a tmobile dongle but it may have been something else.

great find - hot

amazing price tbh seeing as i brought the G (i think its G) one for £40
microsoft need to sort the pricing out though still think they charge too much for what it is
but £34 is better than paying £60 i suppose

Im using "vista home premium".

The basic network connection wont work - i cant got as far as attempting internet sharing as the xbox wont even see the PC! :x

Nice price for this. I would get one if I wasn't wired.

It is much more worth getting a wireless adaptor, but still hot for price.
