These things are an exorbitant price!

Although this is a "good" price, it's still way too expensive IMHO.

Possibly 5% Quidco.

They are mega expensive but a saving of 33% off the rrp is a big reduction, and as we have 3 in the house with 2 adaptors (which cost nearer the rrp each) this is a great deal. Of course it depends on what you are looking for.

You cannot deny this is a great deal, what you could question is microsofts charging policy...... Another way to make some extra cash!!!

Voting hot - normally PC World are the cheapest at £49 but this is a great price.

Would "PC World" price match and deduct a further 10%, bringing the PC World price down to £35.99 for the day ?

:w00t:
#7
It will stay at that price for a few day (gamestation) i think it will the other offers did for the calender, also they should if there is a pc world near a gamestation

They will price match it but the only give you a further 10% of the difference, so £10 difference will get you another £1 of it. Still a great price though £39.

Depends on your network. Need to have a good wireless router and no really thick walls between your 360 and the source...

Has to be of a certain format for the 360 to play it as well...

Ok - I was trying to get the charger but seems to add £1 postage :(
#18
On ebay new at £26 plus postage, but that was another £20! £46 in total. So gives you a flavour of how good price is whether or not ebay is your cup of tea.
#19
That was a great price, voted hot!

I was looking or one of these at a reasonable price, couldn't find one and ended up buying Homeplugs for my son, fingers crossed they'll do the job.
#20
Great price.

But we should not be having this discussion as this should not be optional, in this day and age it should be built it !

Great deal, thanks to the poster!

Walked into PC World this morning with a printout of the Gamestation deal. They price matched and took off another 10% without any problems.

So I got the adapter for £35.99 - compared to PC World's in-store price of £59.99!

Voted hot!

Merry Christmas! :santa:

YES. I just got back from PC World in Bolton and they price matched and knocked the other 10% off making it £35.99. Remember that Gamestation online and Gamestation the store run as two seperate companies though and the store will not honour the website price as I discovered today.

Why? You pay for it if you want it.

The point he is making is that we shouldn't have to pay for it, this is something that should be built it as it is with both the PS3 and Wii.

I mean the freaking DS is wifi ready out of the box so I was kinda gobsmacked when I discovered I needed to buy a £60 gadget to take my 360 online.

Thanks!!
#32

But at the end of the day you don't have to pay £60 to go online as in the box with my 360 there was a cable to connect to a router which cost nothing extra not everyone has wireless.

PS3 sold as a HD games console with no cables to get HD so have to pay extra to get a cable (same principle but worse I think) :?

WII nothing to really complain about has everything it should do as it does not boast to have HD and has built in wireless :gift:

So overall I think the WII are the only ones who got it right :p

Its back in stock at £40 just bought one. :)

Been out of stock for over a week....
