Why is this not crazy hot?

Can you get it cheaper elsewhere?

Ridiculous price for something that should have been built in as standard, its supposed to be a next gen console is it not?
#4
I agree with that, but i think MS announcing it being built in and then retro fitting it to every console is quite unlikely, so unfortunately i have to buy one.

Just wondering what the cheapest price is

Every deal for one of these has a comment like this in it (occasionally they are from me being sarcastic btw)

I realise that for what it is, it is expensive. But if a cable is not an option then this is the only alternative! If this is the cheapest price available that makes a good deal to me

I'd spend my money running a cat5/6 cable in. Wireless is never as good as a cable.

This is true.

Hot deal, though.

IF you don' need wireless you can get the more reliable than wireless Cat6 SUPERFLAT cable and it really is so superflat that you can hide it anywhere, Ebuyer where doing about 50ft for an amazing Two or Three pounds but I can no longer find the offer there. (Just looked at box the cable is made by Elecom and it's dimensions are 1.4mm thick by 6mm wide)......

My Grandma used to do that with telephone extension kits. So don't know what the moaners are on about needing wireless and getting ripped off :)

I just ordered a Belkin wireless gaming adapter off Amazon for £18. I feel it was the wiser choice.
What I'm really angry at Microsoft about is that I can actually get on XBOX Live, download demos, auction cars on FORZA, by connecting a LAN cable from the XBOX to my PC (which is connected to my wireless router), but apparently with this setup my NAT cannot be open, and therefore I can't play multiplayer online.

Have you forwarded the relevant ports to your 360's wlan ip?

Good price, Also watch out for the new N adaptor which will be replacing this old G one. At least one good point of it not being built in the console MS can update
