Skeen, you need to be a certain age to buy a controller.

What has the world come to.

No there is no age restriction. All Games and DVDs are set up to come up with a Think 25 prompt. It is then up to the cashier to check the age that its on the product. I'm guessing the controller is coming up with a prompt because it has been entered as a Game. As there is no age restriction on the product though the cashier won't need to ask for ID.

thought it was a bit weired you had to be 25 to buy a pad , but that explains it , thanks

Maybe the 'think 25' prompt is for the pilau rice above it, as rice can easily be fashioned into an offensive weapon.

Picked one of these up from the Oldbury store last night. None on display though, so ask for them! Staff were shocked how cheap it was!

Sent mum down to the Leicester Grove Farm Triangle branch and she's brought one of these £14.97 beauties back. Clever old bird!

However, she did say that she'd looked round the store and couldn't find the controllers anywhere. When she enquired at the customer services desk, she was told to go to the counter in the clothing(!) section and ask there. So she did that and somebody disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with the controller. Yay!

Im not assuming this is nationwide even if its stickered at £32.97 or whatever like my store...will check it out later! Been in Sainsburies every day since bloody Tuesday!

Would this controller work with my Windows Vista PC?

How long is the USB charging cable?
#33
Can you get one od these to work with a PC ?

H+R

Nice Find..cheers
#34
You need one of the Microsoft Crossfire wireless receivers to use an Xbox controller with a PC. The USB charging cable only charges the controller, it still uses a wireless connection to connect to the console/PC.

Thanks for your replies. I wonder if the wireless PC version of this controller is reduced in Sainsbury's too?
