Isn't £30 a good price or is it the retailer that's getting voted cold?
#3
I've ordered from DE and found them very good and quite fast postage considering it's in Hong Kong.
Only reason I posted this was because it's in black and seems that accessories for black xbox 360's are thin on the ground.
#4
not genuine

id rather pay a few £ extra for branded goods
#5
shold be around the 20 pound mark for a non genuine Microsoft.

You can't even see it when it's attached.

Microsoft love people like you. It's a wireless adaptor, not an operating system.

Would rather pay a bit more and get the offical one (btw, official one has been updated and is now black too!)

Wondered why I'd never seen this in black before, cheers.

Got to agree, worth paying an extra few bob for the official one which probably has a better after sale service and doesn't have to be sent from Hong Kong.

It look more like their offering a product to con people into thinking its official rather than advertising it as a cheaper 3rd party device. Not cool.

So you'd be happier if it looked nothing like a Microsoft adaptor? :?

The usual fake cack from Deal Extreme, personally I think Deal Extreme love people like you, that just buy into their shoddy manufactured knock offs.

The fact that they make it look EXACTLY like the official MS one, right down to it blatantly having a "Microsoft Corporation" sticker on it as well as hologram makes it a blatant forgery and for that reason alone with HUKD not condoning fake goods should not be on this site.

So yes, I for one would be far happier if it looked nothing like a Microsoft adaptor, instead of conning people into believing its the real thing rather than some third party "fake clone".

Precisely why before now in miscellaneous I started a thread about Deal Extreme and if their goods should be banned on HUKD....this is a prime example of why they should.

hate to break it to you mate, but it looks EXACTLY like the official MS one because it is an official MS one.

all official MS adapters are made in China for peanuts... the antenna is a piece of wire taped to a drinking straw.

Riiiiggghtttt of course its the official one, just because Microsoft make products in China doesn't mean this is an official one, plenty of fake and official goods in China.

Show me where you can buy an Official MS WiFi adapter from that isn't Draft-N like this from a reputable dealer that you know won't be fake and I would be more likely to believe you, only black ones I have seen from sellers that don't sell fakes is the Draft-N adapters.

Who cares, get off your high horse and put a cork in your mouth. We don't care if it's fake.

Everyone knows DX sells some shoddy fake crap and some top quality fake stuff. If you know what you're doing it's a fantastic site to shop at.

Got some amazing LED torches from there recently at half the price anywhere in the UK sells the equivalent.

...It most likely is fake but if it works as it should, and this sort of stuff from them normally does....Does it really matter?

 Hardly much cheaper than an official one, and not warranteed, so what if DX got some amazing LED torch deals, does selling fake cack make things right? Should this website such as HUKD that condones fake goods from marketplace sellers on Amazon and Ebay also be having spam such as this one which is exactly the same.

Don't tell me to get off my high horse, I have as much as a right to an opinion  Fake goods are sold cheaper than official ones emulating original goods for a reason, dishonesty, and cheaper manufacturing, does that make things good?!

Bwah, just buy the better console and you could buy youself a new game for something that should be standard hardware :D

I buy things every week from them for the last two years. I wonder why I do that if their goods are shoddily manufactured knock-offs?

Asda sell remotes for Wii's that are not made by Nintendo, run down their and protest.
They look just like the real thing.

The MS encryption chips in these mean only official ones work. There is no such thing as a fake usb xbox 360 wifi adapter.

awwww I get the feeling you went and bought a NokLa phone or similar for £**** all thinking it was the real deal and that you were onto a winner... and got burnt, so now you're on a personal vendetta. :whistling:

Do Asda box them to fool the consumer into thinking they are the real thing? There is a difference between third party products and deception.

Deal Extreme not have "their goods" they buy in all the fake cack that places like Ebay clamp down on to stop customers getting ripped off.

Fake Memory cards with wrongly defined file allocation tables.

Copyright theft in sellings 360 hard drives as they have to be specially formatted with a certain binary image file that is copyrighted by Microsoft.

Initially advertising third party Wii Remotes with Nintendo packaging to fool customers that they are the real deal instead of inferiorly produced third party ones, which are most definitely inferior to the originals as the insides of them reveal http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/939583

Continually selling R4 clones when the manufacturer of R4s stopped producing them in 2007, SDHC versions of R4 have known voltage issues which can blow the integral fuse inside the DS

Ever heard of reverse engineering something? As I said Microsoft have only released a black wifi adapter that is Draft-N, if you can prove that they have released a black wifi adapter that is A/B/G then I would agree with you.

They also sell a fake one in White too, "retail boxed", and as the reviewer says, not the real deal but works fine. So there you have it, hacked Microsoft Encryption, reverse engineering in progress, no surprises.

Same as Microsoft have never released a Wireless gaming receiver in black, and yet Deal Extreme sell them.

Wow...an immature poster, trawling through my previous posts trying to stir up some trolling, I am so mightily impressed..not. I posted a deal, it got considerable heat, Quidco for whatever reason was declined, query is processing, no personal vendetta.

Lets see your wonder deals Mr Newbie troll.

thesaint is right.

Does the colour really matter? :? It's all the same on the inside.

These probably came out of the same factory as the official ones :giggle:

it's encrypted to stop people reverse engineering it, not to make it look pretty.

This encryption hasn't been hacked yet, if it had people like datel would be releasing their own ones.

if you look at the review for the white one, it says

- Doesn't have the extra USB port the real ones do have
- The real ones have the correct hologram, this one has an incorrect one

the real ones don't have an "extra USB port" so this guy is talking rubbish.

As for your previous posts, I didn't look at them at all, you just seem to have a pretty odd obsession with not liking dealextreme.

Looks original to me

you posted a deal and it got heat... so what?
