Xbox induction charger dock with 2 batteries £2.98 Delivered @ Virtual Village
First post, so please don't be a dingbat! ;)
Virtual Village are selling a wireless controller non-contact docking station for xbox 360 for 99p. Think this must be a misprice as it's around £16 on other sites.
This looks pretty cool as it's an induction controller. Might be worth a pop at this price?
I've ordered one and is showing as 'exported'.
Only drawback is that it will take 16+ days for delivery (much like Dealextreme)
Blurb from the website;
- 2 controller can be charged at the same time
- USB output: DC5V/450±50mA
- Charging current: 180±30mA
- Comes with USB charging cable, 2*900mAh batteries & English instruction manual

Bear in mind that there is more than one review site :)
I see your reviews and give you mine ;)
That rating is about power output, not how long they last. Controllers have a pretty small draw.
Through the xbox or a pc, I guess.

Its the battery capacity. If the controller pulls 1mA then these would last 900 hours and the pannys 2100 hours.
edit. still a hot deal :)

Indeed. And as the controller draws around 84mA, you would get less than 11 hours per charge on these batteries, compared to 25 hours on 2100mAh batteries. If this is enough for you, then it's a good bargain. If not, move along...
True, but seriously who doesn't plug their controllers in to charge after every use? I keep my PS3 controllers plugged in to charge after every use and I've never had to play plugged in since getting my first release model 60gig. My xbox I use rechargeable AAs and the same applies.
As for virtual village, I ordered with them about 18mths ago a remote unlocking kit for my old car before I sold it and it arrived slowly but nothing overly problematic.

We'll be choosing a product every week in the Christmas run-up to promote - we were thinking about giving PlayStation products a go next but if you guys would prefer another Xbox bargain, let us know!
You're right - after we reach a certain number of orders per product, the price goes back up
(although we're still way cheaper than most the other sellers out there!)
