Can't complain at £2.4975 per month! HOT!

(except Sony fanboys who will argue otherwise :P)
#2
Just paid £26.50 for 12 months on the xbox itself. Hot for those who want a card to give as a gift.
#3
Thanks, just purchased.

Lucky, mine only shows £29.99
How long did you have left to renew?

same price on dashboard on xbox
#5
My dash board shows 39.99 so this is a great deal
#6
My dashboard is £26.99

Yeah I paid £26.99 on the dash yesterday, for a year and a days Live membership!

£27.99 @ bestbuy INSTORE.

BTW - I found that those dash deals only come up if your membership has already expired. I had a deal on mine - couldnt afford it but found a 3 day free trial on one of my games - activated that and the deal dissappeared.

yup the my dash says £26.50 with the big selling point of 12 months for less than two 3 month subs

Mine expired Feb of this year, when I sold my xbox, just bought another and that was the offer to sign back up.

Great price if you don't want to give MS your credit card details. I used to have autorenew setup, but when my card expired and MS tried to charge the next year against it, they cancelled my gamertag when it didn't work. A cancelled gamertag cannot be recovered, so be warned :)
#13
They did the same price just before Christmas. I bought one on the Saturday night, it was despatched on the Monday and arrived on the Tuesday morning. :)
#14
hot, thanks

unless you want all the content then you have to pay for the premium service just like this.

This price has been posted before pretty regularly at amazon so its not particularly new deal wise, but as people say good price if you did miss previous deals

This was posted a few weeks ago for around £28
I went to buy and it went up to this price

Sony = no party chat, no cross party game chat, no integrated cross game joining. worse servers, more lag, missing loads of dlc exclusives.

At the end of the day you pay for what you get, its less than a £1 a week who would not pay less than a pound a week for such a vastly superior service if you enjoy online gamming ?

I'm thinking about switching over to Sony, getting a little annoyed with the Live price rises, and starting to get bored with the Xbox (like iPhone/Android bored) X)

technically, mysmith is right.

i have both and live is far better mabey sony sould take advice and charge they might have better servers then rather than kicking you off everyother game. xbox live is 100% better got my 12month live off very.co.uk for £16 by using the £25 off £40 spend so a £6 game and 12months for £16 bingo

PC = free as well, doesn't mean you get the same service though. I don't own either console so can't compare, but my bro in law is a Sony fanboy and he thinks the Xbox has a better online service.

i own both an xbox 360 and PS3

I have to say xbox live is well worth the £30 a year compared to PSN which is completely s**t
I won black ops for both consoles and trying to play with friends is the most stressful process I have ever had playing a video game

Elitism to rival Apple fanboiz.

What do you pay for exactly? Isn't it all peer2peer?

A few games still have dedicated servers I think, but you mostly pay for the quality of the voice chat, the friends lists, game updates (bug fixest etc), the matchmaking etc and also demos (which you can get on free Silver but you have to wait a couple more weeks).

I have both PS3 and 360 and I am happy to pay for a much more reliable online service.

It's the quality of the game that matters. PS3 isn't even close!

Good price, hot deal!

Why should Dashboards be giving differences in prices for renewals for people? Isn't that a bit strange?

It depends on whether you're currently subscribed on a deal and how long until your renewal is due. I'm currently being offered 24 months for £64!

Surely the T-shirt costs you £2 then????????? :p
