You can always get 12 months cheaper than £37, but the extra 800 points make this a hot deal.

3 months for £6 on the dashboard for me atm...

I know not everyone gets these deals, but I won't vote as that is saying that you're paying £9 for 800 points...

I've just connected my new 4gb slim and I am on the free month gold live. Does xbox still have the free silver service? Or do I need to lay for gold to go online?

After 30 days your subscription should automatically de-grade to silver.

Wow, an XBL thread without any PS3 owners on their usual bandwagon :P

Hardly surprising, though

After the 30 days is up you can just make a new account and get another free one month. Do this 4 times.

Can't even com onto hot deals without fanboys trying to start a flame war(Anarchist),. Not a bad price, mine isn't up for renewal yet but might grab it for later use..

If you let Gold accounts expired and revert to Silver you get a £24 for a year offer on the dashboard.
#13
Not in my local branch
#14
I let my gold expire and I've had no reduction in price for renewal.
I'll take a look local to me though.

ouch just brought from and shipped from amazon. didnt see them at asda, iv seen some things on roll back like N adapter £39.99 and the controller for 25, but not the points or membership or i didnt see them.

is there a expire date on the 800pts?? iv seen free points work like this you get free points but you ahve to spend your points first and if you dont and dont buy anything the free points expire in few months. not sure about you lot but i keep my points for map packs not avatar stuff.

OOS in Asda Poole. Shame, as mine expires today. Only deal offered on my dash is for 25% off. I'll have to see what works out better: doing it that way or going through Amazon.

Hot Deal for those that have it though.

Just bought in Maidstone. About £4 cheaper than 12 months without the points. Nice.

Does anyone know any asda around Portsmouth that is doing this?
I have been to New Gate Lane Asda in Fareham twice and no-one seems to know anything

I've just been to the Havant store - they don't have this offer, but I got 12 Months for 29.97, which seems a very good deal. See my link here...
