Xbox Live 2100 Microsoft Points

This is the cheapest I have seen it. It is my first post so don't go all out on me if you feel it is no good.

first you need to buy xbox live which you can get for about £30 then you have 2 options
1. get a wireless adapter for the 360 these about about £35 if you get them in a deal from gamestation (The deal is buy the wireless 360 aapter and something else from the shop [like a £3 2nd hand game] this sves you about £20)
2. and better way if you can do it, is put a cable up from your router up through the floor and plug it into the 360.

There are other ways of doing it but these take more work, b4 anyone else says it :)

hope that helps.

so all i would need is a wireless adaptor and a payment for xbox live...and thats it?

If you've already got a router, yes!

Might be worth adding you can pay for XBOX Live in installments. As said, it's around £30 per year, but you can buy in 1 month and 3 months installments.

Yep thats right, as long as you have a wireless router already. Buying xbox live month by month or quarter by quarter is rreally not worth it, if you know you want it for a year.

Hope it helped :)

Also, as you are probably aware (so ignore if this is patronising), this deal is for Points not an Xbox Live Subscription... Points being the currency to buy extras online and a Subscription giving the ability to play games online against friends or any other Xbox live user.

I voted cold on this, simply because there is a £10 littlewoods code floating around on HUKD and if you use that, you can get the 2100 points from www.littlewoods.com for £12.51 delivered!

They are marked up on the website for £23.00 with the new vat reduction they go to £22.51 and with the £10 code, thats a total of £12.51!

Bargain!!!
#13

It's worth noting that all the payment for xbox live gets you is the online gameplay and a few demos early. He can still download arcade games, the community made games, game demos etc without it.

With this deal, no £5.99 delivery to home or store!
#16
You can also use homeplugs like Solwise etc to connect the xbox to a router from your loft - I use those personally over wireless... depends what setup you already have in place I guess...
#17
Cold deal. Tesco Direct and/or Zavvi often have these for £14 or less.

Good luck when Littlewoods decide that your not eligible for the code two months down the line and want their money back!

When you sign up for a free xbox live silver account using a unique hotmail address/live ID, you get a months free xbox live. This can be done more than once. So just sort the internet connection for now.

Tesco was a great deal, probably the best deal to get these points, and thus much better than this deal, and from a reliable source.

But the problem is Tescos are out of stock at the moment.

So until back in stock, voted hot. :)
#23
Indeed. Tescos are out of stock. My wife is getting me some for Xmas. Voted Hot!

****WARNING TO EVERYONE!!***

I saw this offer while searching Google Shops for points and there are 71 user reviews for this DirectFoto site and overall it has been rated 1.2/5!!

http://www.google.co.uk/products/reviews?fq=2100+directfoto&cid=f8743c5a704c28b9&sort=1&cat=merchants

That's what stopped me ordering from there and putting the deal up on here!

Basically, if you can't be bothered to read the reviews, people complain about having their money debited and goods never arriving, impossible to get through to customer support and no e-mail contact!!

BEWARE!

Cheers for that mate ... I won't say anything to the wife then! :)

im waiting for two cards from hmv that i got for £29 the pair thanks to a voucher, less quidco = £27 odd so thats not bad. i am worried though as i thought id have them today and i didnt get it - also waiting on smokin aces hd-dvd and fallout 3 xbox game from them, and i guess they will all come tomorrow. but im worried how these will be packaged - if they put them in standard hmv cardboard boxes, maybe the postie will think they are empty as they are light, and not deliver them?

Surely online gameplay is what xbox live is all about...

I wouldn't go through Zavvi at the moment. I tried ordering Micosoft points from them last week, only for the order to be cancelled as their supplier was Woolies. :x
#32
they are available from woolworths instore for £15.30 at the moment I just bought 2 of 2100 points cost me £30.60. They are £16.99 with 10% off which is £1.70. Thought I would rather buy from a retailer I know than one I don't not voted hot or cold as is a good deal if you don't have a woolworths near by

HMV seem to have had a few delays - It took them about a week to deliver my American Dad vol 2, but it did come, so don't panic :)
