Just been to the Trafford centre and Zavvi had their 3 month gold Xbox live cards reduced from £15.00 to £7.50....Cheshire Oaks also had these for the same price!

Didn't buy one myself as I have a monthly subscription, but hope this helps someone!!!

Next best price I could see is on play.com for £12.99 but currently out of stock there!
£6.75 using voucher!

If you do they had them right in the front by the door (left hand side as you're looking at the shop)

I can't believe they'd sell it for £15 in the first place.

£7.50 isn't all that good of a deal either, considering you can get a full year's worth for £25.

Not as far as I know you can't. Jasper1675 is £28.99 & cheapest on eBay is over £30. If you get 4 x this deal that makes £30 so only £1.01 more expensive.
If you get the 10% discount @ Zavvi this makes it cheaper than a normal 12month sub ;-)

Agree, but have some sympathy for Mr. Gates... he's really starting to feel the pinch with this global economic downturn!!!

voted hot.

Cheapest I know is xboxliveuk76 at £27.99 for 13 months or £25.99 for 12 months. The code is emailed to you.

just like they said on the Bonus Round, Microsoft dont have any pressure to lower the price of Live/stop subscription fees until Sony are able to offer what Live can.

btw: this is an awesome deal for instore - 12 months for £30 - i'm gonna try & get some tomorrow :)

anyone know how long it will be until the code expires?

I mean payin the £7.50 and putting the card away until I want to use it...

It will only go down from the moment you use the code

They normally have an expiration date of at least two years before you activate it.

good price

why do people insist on getting 360's?
they cost less than PS3's but by time you have all the accessories to make it match the PS3, the sums dont add up.
PS3 online play is free too.

For the same reason you got a PS3: To bitch about the opposing console on internet forums.
I never realised you HAD to buy all those accessories for the Xbox 360 to work, same way I didn't realise I HAD to buy Blu-Ray films for my PS3 when the DVD upscaling on both 360/PS3 will do just fine for me.

Also moving back towards the point of this thread and away from OMG INTERNET ARGUMENT, in the Leeds Zavvi these 3 Month cards are only £7.50 when bought with a chart 360 game.

Because we want to!

Stop crying just because other people like different systems.

Yawn, not really cheaper to spend nearly £280 on a ps3 when you already have an xbox and can get a years subs for £27, and having a xbox already really is the point of this thread?

Not sure what's of interest in this thread to a ps3 owner? :whistling:

Unlike the 3/12 Month subscription cards, the Microsoft Points cards are restricted by country/locale (e.g. fewer cheap imports and online code sellers).

Historically Zavvi and Tesco Entertainment have been the cheapest, but with Enterainment UK going under (part of Woolworths), the supply of cheap points cards to those two stores may be at an end.

Cheapest at the moment may even be *wince* Game (buy 2 2100 points cards @ £17.13, use one of the £3 0ff £30 codes = £31.26 + Quidco + Game Reward Points)
#28
Lets not turn this into a PS3 vs 360 argument. Hot deal for what it is!

PS3 online play is free too.

More games, better games, the choice of whether to buy those accessories (like what, a wireless adapter? £35 now), better online service.. I'm happy enough.

Good deal this, except, I thought it was only if you bought a chart game, sweet!
