Sounds about right for the 2100 points as there usual price is £17.49 I beleive. (There exactly the same price as Currys (same company)) However I have no idea if the 10% of gaming is also at PC World that would be the only discrepancy between prices at either store.

Sure that it was for 4200 points and not 2100?

That is exactly what I thought. Check it, mate, you will see the 2100 one not the 4200 card.

Nope, it was definately 4200 points - I paid nopte because I'd not seen a 4200 before and didn't realise they were available. If I pop past there tomorrow I'll take a pic.

If confirmed as true, will be one of the hottest deals on hotdeals, ever.

Still find it hard to believe.

In fact if pcworld are doing 4200 points for £15.87, I'll give you the money myself. :p

Is this officially the raddest MS points deal of all time?

I can't remember ever seeing them cheaper than £11.24 per 2100.

I'm very interested to see this pic since PCW and Currys are the same shop and have the same prices!!

Still, regardless of price, not having to pay to play online is a much better deal, as used by all other consoles and PCs

It has been £6.99 for 2100 at HMV twice in the past

I thought this thread was about the price of microsoft points.

Regardless of which console you prefer, you will always have the option of buying prepaid cards.

Please troll elsewhere...:P

I got mine super cheap when Woolworths shut down and they were 75% off :D

Checked in Currys (and PC World) at Thurrock, no such luck. Didn't even have 4,200 pts, only 2,100 (and these were just 10% off). Bought some in Tesco which were cheaper. Has anyone else found this deal? Seems excessively hot when it seems like only the opening poster has benefited....

I would rather pay a small fee of 25 quid, and get a decent gaming experience. PS3 players don't stop moaning about online issues they have on multiplayer games.

Ok, went back to PCWorld in TCR today, and now they have none left at all except for a single 2100 point (which was priced up at £32). I did ask if they had any 4200's left and was told if there were none on the shelf then they've sold out - I did query the price and he stated that they'd recently had a refit, and that they may well have been stock from their pre-refit clearance.

p.s. I don't appreciate the inference that I'm talking BS or making it up. This place would be a far better environment if people weren't so cynical and quick to jump down the throat.

Have you all checked your LIVE messages recently? I had 80 freepoints from MS expiring in four days. Have to be spent by March. I would've missed them.
