If this is the same as what I got with my 360 Arcade - its actuallty a disc with the games on it - not codes.

I am not sure if you get the games or you only get the trial versions of these games. I have two Arcades and when I install this I am pretty sure it was the trial version.

If anybody can confirm how do you get the full version. Please let me know.

I think its cheaper at gamestation i saw it for £1.99 or might have been £2.99 2 days ago instore

They are full games - not trials.

I have the 2nd disk they released of these.. poker etc. You have to keep the disk in to play them though.

What's on the 2nd disc? I didn't realised they had released one.

i think the "second disk" your talking about is actually the first one! :p (the one with texas hold em) not that it really matters im just being picky

and the discs that you will buy in Cex are definitly the full games. worth £3 alone for Pacman, so well worth it if you like these games

CEX are really rubbish, staff are idiots and totally rude, dont have a f***ing clue about jake ****. Well this is my local not taking about all CEX statt here. Only sell things too them, when i went to get my card they tooks bloody 3 f***ing days too sort it out, if would have been longer if i didnt give one of their f***ing staff a ear ful, me being so carm and respectful lost the plot with there arrgoant *******s.

Bought a Xbox360 faceplate from them once, the bloody staff give me a broken faceplate when i pointed that out to him he goes to be you broke it now and i never touched it aswell. I felt fly kicking that guy to Xbox360 repair centre.

It's actually Pac Man CE, not Pac Man. Bit of a different game compared to the old version.

Pac Man CE is one of my favourite Xbox Live Arcade titles and I don't regret buying it at full price. Uno and the others are a lot of fun too. Very good selection. Well worth having the lot for £3, considering they are mostly 800MSP (£6.80) each to buy through the console.

You do have to have the disc in to play the games, they are definitely full version and not trial, then they show in the dashboard menu along with any you downloaded.

Bad luck on your local staff. I've had no problems buying or selling at two local branches and online!

Playing Uno over xbox live is pretty darn addictive.
#13
great price, there are 2 arcade discs - this one which was meant to be only sold with the arcade console, and then there is the xbla collection. that one comes with 1 months free xbl gold.
#14
don't buy from CEX the place sucks a**. it's full of smackheads and 'dodgy' stock.

Great price (even if you're not keen on the shop/staff).
My kids and I loved playing Boom Boom Rocket, for weeks.

Bought my copy from CEX in enfield town a few months back. was £4 back then. Games are defo worth it.

Good price

Heads up though, I managed to pick this up at £2.99 from the gamestation in Nottingham last weekend if you wanted another option from CEX (I also dislike buying from CEX - from my expierienced always scratched and awful service sometimes.)
#20
Well service (and number of smackhead customers/staff) is down to your local store. I don't live in the nicest area but I've had no problems. You can check the disc for scratches before leaving the store, or return it within 7 days for any reason (basically free rental if you're into that sort of thing!) and all hardware has 12 month warranty.

Voted hot because it's a great selection of games if you can find it new/used anywhere at that great price.

Found it online, they've given it a weird title: http://www.cex.co.uk/products/Gaming/Console%20Gaming/Xbox%20360%20Software/index.php?sku=S360ARCE002&name=XBLA%20Compilation:%20Pacman%20CE%20etc%20(Boxed)&mode=buy There's 158 to buy online with free postage if you don't want to set foor in a cex, and it lists stock in various stores (most of them have it apparently). Makes it extra hot IMO!

Good deal, but having it on a disk puts me off a little. I know it means you can sell it on (which you cant do with normal arcade games), but I like the idea of playing arcade games without finding a disk first. Stillm very good deal if you havent got the games...

Pac Man is the worst game on the compilation, but is still an awesome game. Feeding Frenzy is immense!!!

I agree in principle, but buying points throught he dashboard this complete collection would be £30.60 (unless anything more than Uno has been reduced to 400MSP already or you get it through a gold deal of the week or something) and even with a HEAVILY reduced points card would be over £20 (unless you've found anything under £12 for a points card).

Pac Man CE is probably the most critically acclaimed, and my favourite, but it's subjective of course :) No BAD games here I think. And if your console's online you can get free trial downloads of every game to see if you like them before buying (either individual games online or this disc).

Pac-Man and Luxor 2 are my favs.

I can't seem to get Feeding Frenzy to work though- It doesn't seem to be compatible with my LCD TV. Every time I try to load it up, I get a messaged saying I can't play it until I change my screen resolution setting, but the screen resolution setting box in the Xbox control panel thingy is greyed out! How poo is that?

my mate's tv does that but didnt do it when he first had it, and now mine does it too. Now neither of us can play Feeding Frenzy and our lives are over.

ok that last part was an over exaggeration, but yeah it is well poo cos Feeding Frenzy is ace!!

To get Feeding Frenzy to work, you need to plug the normal scart lead in , then change the display options so it plays in 60hz, and then when you change back to your HDMI / component cable, it will work :)

Good spot. Added it to the go to link.

yeah while i dont like CEX stores, their online stuff is great, amazing prices, far cheaper than any other 2nd hand place and most of the stuff is in good nick, its free delivery and quick to get the stuff in the post.

its rather unfair to call the people who work there druggies, ive never seen anything like that in the stores i went to. my complaint was mucky shelves, loud music and ignorant staff. which is why i only buy and sell to the website.

Thanks for the tip!

But what a joke! I'll have to dig around in the loft for my scart lead now.

Picked one of these up in Uxbridge today, they had plenty left, cheers OP =)
