Tempted for Sonic 4 but heard from the reviews that it's not very good
#2
Good deal for sonic adventure cheers
#3
Going to pass this time, i already played sonic the hedgehog 4 on my iphone :( hot deal
#4
Already had Sonic 1, so got the rest (except Adventure), which to say my Dad had to pay probably over £40 for each game when I was little (only got the 1st two before I switched over to a SNES), this is incredible value. :D

All terrible except the first.

It's not good. We all need to accept that there's never going to be a Sonic game like the originals.

Sonic 4 is fine, it's a little bit unfinished and the physics are a bit dodgy in places but it's still fun to play. Definitely invokes the classic feel.
#9
Just got Sonic & Knuckles for the lad, can't go wrong for less than a quid.

Will be getting myself Sonic 4 - then get Adventure and Sonic & Knuckles to cheer me up once Sonic 4 has sufficiently let me down.

Shame they didn't bother to include the Sonic Adventure DX Upgrade for 200 points.
#12
I can't recommend Sonic 4 to anyone who likes Sonic. Buy yourselves Sonic Adventure and Sonic 2!
#13
Any thoughts on Sonic 1. I never really played it when it first came out.
It has leaderboards which makes it interesting as well.
#14
I would recommend this to anyone. Sonic adventure, Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles get the thumbs up from me. But all of the old games are great.

I remember it felt like I was cheating at the time & I felt dirty giving up on Sonic as I loved him so......but after the many hours/days/months playing Super Mario Kart, I soon forgot about him. Killer Instinct was ace too, though I never really got anywhere other than with Orchid.

I assume you're referring to the shoddy ports and you aren't actually implying that Sonic 2 and 3 were bad games. Even Sonic Adventure was pretty good, it's exactly how Sonic games should be made in 3D, shame every single one since then has ignored that.

But I'd definitely pass on Sonic 4.
#17
Would have been an amazing deal for me, if I hadn't purchased them all already :(

oO

entitled to ur opinion and all but personally sonic 3 + knuckles is probably the greatest 2d platformer I've ever played. Sonic 1 seems slightly dull in comparison imho

so true!

Meh. I'm done with Sonic. Loved them I was growing up, but now I see the shortcomings of the series. I already own Sonic 2 (my favourite) on XBLA, so I'll just pass on this deal.

Limbo tomorrow though, which I will buy!

I bought all these on Sonic's 19th Birthday promo for 240pts each. Bit annoyed that every single one has been reduced further, makes me think twice about buying games that are on offer.

I was thinking of getting Sonic Adventure to add to my collection but it will likely be reduced next year as well (or you could wait until Sega release the Dreamcast collection in Febuary).

Haha you can't be serious, 240 points to 200 points is a difference of 34p.

All 4 together makes a free game though and if it was an actual 34p then I would probably agree but everything on XB marketplace is in *points* which require more effort to get.

Was going to get Sonic 4 but at 800 points im not sure.

Are any of the others worth getting if you already have the Mega Drive Collection?

I see what you mean, but you've had the benefit of owning them since 6 months (or so) ago. The grand saving from previous sale prices is 240 points...... £2? Presuming you really wanted the games in the first place it's nothing to get bothered about at all.

Limbo is going to be 800 points tomorrow. I bought it for 1200 but don't mind because I really wanted it, enjoyed it and I didn't have to wait over 5 months for it to drop by the price of my daily bus fare!

think how you'd feel if you'd paid 1200 points for Hydro thunder for it to then be 400 points in deal of the day... that's what happened to me..
i wouldnt have minded so much if it had been 600 or 800 but 400!!!

Good deal, although annoyed as i only just bought 4 for the full 1200 last week, lol!

I'm in the same position, I have the Mega Drive Collection so think I'll get Sonic Adventure but am tempted by Sonic 4 as well!

With regards to the price difference I downloaded Sonic 1, then purchased the Mega Collection so have paid twice but don't care as I was happy with the price it was at the time I wanted it. That's what a deal is, right product, right price and right time! Otherwise wait months ater release to buy everything...
