This will probably be the cheapest this ever gets. It will be removed from Xbox Live this December (as Sega's deal with Ferrari runs out then), so you wont be able to buy it after that point. But if you buy it before then, you can play it forever.

Exactly the machine I use to play it on. I played the full arcade game once when the fair came to visit.

Yes! Great arcade racer and hot price.
#6
Nice, might get this one
#7
Should be no might about it.
#8
Do you have to have a Gold subscription?
#9
I was deeply disappointed with the CPC464 version as it was completely different to the arcade and had cack graphics. Turbo Outrun was ace though.

except if you delete it and want it back after the cut off date, as after December it will become an unknown marketplace item

looks pretty poor to me, time plays tricks on your memories, used to love playing Outrun in the arcades but guess some things are best left as memories :(

I remember this, good game!

I thought that was supposed to have been last December, surprised to see it's still available. Either way I'll probably nab it now at this price, certainly worthy of 400 points. Hot.

If you delete it from your hard drive once it's been removed from the Marketplace, you'll be able to download it again from the Download History under Account Management

The drifting on this is so satisfying. Can't go wrong for £4 - that'd have bought you eight goes on it in an actual arcade, and at home you don't have to put up with the following:

- Smell of urine
- Smell of cigs
- Creepy old men grooming kids
- Scallies

apart from it will show as unknown content as i mentioned previously as was the case with another purchase of mine form early doors of the marketplace. I have no idea which one it was now (it shows as unknown content from my console (download history not xbox.com) and no amount of pestering m$ so I could download what had paid for allowed me to get my content back.

Blame Zenimax's for buying out 'id Software' and asking for it to be removed from XBL. Don't expect Wolfenstein 3D to be around for long either! :|

Delisted games that you've paid for can always be re-downloaded from your download history.

Voted hot.

I paid £13.05 for 2100 points which makes this £2.48.
#24
Would it be worth picking this up or Outrun 2006?
#25
Outrun 2006 will play on the 360, but not perfectly. With the PAL version, the coins on the road that you have to pick up are invisible. I'd go for this, as with cheap MS Point deals it only costs you a couple of quid. There's a free demo you can try, as there is for all XBLA games, so see what you think of it.

That's a strange one indeed, hope you eventually get it back whatever it is. Although if you can't remember what it was, how do you know it was something you paid for? Maybe not a great loss.

I tested the Download History last night with Dash of Destruction, Speedball 2 Trial and Smash TV Trial on my list - they all downloaded fine.

Oh yeah - I forgot 1 point doesn't equal 1p!

Well I guess that makes it even cheaper - in the spirit of this site, that's never a bad thing :)
