As normal its for Gold members only. Meant to be one of the top arcade titles.

Any good this ?

Its a good and recent game. Why is it on offer so often? It must sell no copies at all at full price!

Finally a good xla deal, bought 4200 points for the xmas sale and still got most of it, they've had crap deals after crap deals so far.

Where Bastion lets itself down slightly, though, is in the combat...the enemies you encounter don't rise to the challenge, frequently just spamming you with increasing numbers, extra spawn points, area-of-effect attacks and storms of projectiles rather than fighting you in ways that invite experimentation and get you excited about going into combat. For a game where you spend so much of your time hacking and slashing, that's a disappointing revelation.

Eurogamer Review (8/10)

Might give the trial a go, though the combat sounds disappointing.

deffo need to give the trial a go first i think

Ahhh great! Finally able to come into a Bastion thread without someone smugly saying it's free on Chrome.

Own it already, and would highly recommend anyone paying the 600msp to get to play it with a controller and gamer points.

How many of those do you think were sold at full price? Its been on offer on Xbox about 6 times since release, I've seen it as a steam offer, etc.

How many HP Touchpads were sold before the firesale?

About 6 times?
It has been on offer one (!) time as the first of their Christmas deals. But apart from this one day, there haven't been any offers yet.

its downloading now, supposed to be very good

I tend to only get XBLA stuff if its on sale or if not if I really want it

the Alan Wake game I will get day one, if you get your points for say 2100 for £15 then your still getting a deal
#18
Annoying thing with most XBLA sales is by the time you get round to trying the demo out, the price has gone back up!
