Just seen this on Major Nelson, looks like xbox.com is having a ridiculous sale on Games On Demand starting from the 19th June.

This is the entire list that was listed aimed at USA only but the deal applies if that game is available in our region (i.e; UK) - $4.99 is basically 400 points, so all these games will be 400 points each on the 19th June for a full week:

I admit some of the games are rather old, but not bad for 400 points for an easy 1000 achievement points.

Bionic Commando
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW II
Bomberman Act: Zero
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Dark Void
Meet the Robinsons
Open Season
Perfect Dark Zero
Prince of Persia
Rockstar Table Tennis
SEGA Superstars Tennis
Surf’s Up
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Tornado Outbreak
Virtua Tennis 2009
Viva Pinata Party Animals

Just had a look at what is available in the UK: The following games aren't available:

Bomberman Act Zero
Tornado Outbreak
Meet The Robinsons

"Update: I was just told that sale has been extended a week until Tuesday, July 2nd"

Not understanding this easy achievement stuff. Well I hope i'm not as it reads like you buy crap games to up some lame gamerscore rather than to enjoy playing them.

These games shouldn't be that much more than 400 points to be honest, especially considering that they cant be resold.

I'm still interested in Virtua Tennis and Bionic Commando though. And I would pick up Prince of Persia in a heartbeat if I didn't have that game already.

I completely agree, i may get Viva Pinata Party Animals as that was supposed to be easy achievements. If anybody hasn't played it then Kameo is well worth 400 points, it's an old game at this point but well worth it.

I have updated the OP to reflect what is actually available to UK, the ones that we don't get are:

Bomberman Act Zero
Tornado Outbreak
Meet The Robinsons
Many of these you can find used on disc for cheaper, but still pretty alright deals.
If people got that 400 microsoft points deal/glitch from game, it makes these games only £1.75, not a bad price at all. Heat added.
Is this going to permanent?

been thinking of playing kameo and got 600 points floating about in my account. cheers op, heat added
None of them look that worthwhile tbh, might have a look at the Tom Clancy game or Virtua Tennis.

Got Facebreaker bought for me when I first got my Xbox, it's fun for all of 25 minutes, really not worth getting. ESPECIALLY if you're a completionist, getting 1000g on that was HARD, I'd imagine it's even impossible now knowing what EA are like for taking down servers.

I'm guessing this one of those only for gold members deals?, fair enough if so (but if silver is included i'm getting surf's up)
Wow this line up is a lot poorer than I expected. I was expecting something more like the pretty good PlayStation Plus deals.
great prices shame the games are abit poor still have some heat.

Kameo is well worth this price tho

Well Kameo and Virtua Tennis are probably worth a punt at that price but to be honest not a great list of games, and you can probably pick up a used copy for the less than the value of 400 points.

But give them heat for trying, but honestly they need to provide better offers in the Download options, even with Sony, the price of a Download copy is more often much more expensive than purchasing an actual physical retail copy.

Only game i've ever brought on GoD service is Tales of Vesperia, as Namco only did one game print, so you'd have to pay atleast double retail price on Ebay to get hold of a used copy, a brand new sealed copy would set you back few hundred pounds
Expected some decent bargains... but really it's very meh. Most of those games weren't that impressive several years ago.

Bionic Commando and Prince of Persia stand out for me, but I already own them both.

Tornado Outbreak looked worth a punt, then I saw it's not available in the UK. Pity!
If you want an indication of how easy / difficult a game is then try http://www.trueachievements.com/
It's a great Xbox site, that and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/ are pretty much the only sites you need for (legal) Xbox gaming.

Getting achievements gives certain types of players enjoyment, and gets the most out of ya money. Not lame, just a bit of geeky dedication
Thanks. Hot.

I might try some of the recommended games.

I just need the points I ordered 2 weeks ago (Hot deal on here) to arrive................

Afraid its cold from me. You can pick them up for the same price and cheaper on disc, which allow for resale when your bored/don't like it.
Cheers OP. Although the list isnt great I'll be grabbing Kameo :)
I don't think these are that good, would anyone seriously buy these if they were in Tesco for £4? Doubt it. I know I wouldn't.

As someone who has owned a 360 since the beginning I can tell you Rockstar Table Tennis is an awesome, underrated game :)
