  Normally if you cancel with out doing any renewal on the phone - the next time you go to your dashboard on the Xbox there will be an offer for you under Spotlight / My Xbox of "Gold Annual Renewal for 40% off (£23.99)".

  No it will shoot back up to the maximum price again in you don't cancle auto renew, or try and strike a new deal somehow

  Bit of hassle but I got cod mw 2 and 14months of Xbox live for £60 from morrisons. Then completed single player ( didnt enjoy multiplayer) got gamestation to price match cex for £37 Instore credit of £33 cash at cex leaving cheap Xbox live.
