Would this come with uk plug?
#2
Got it thanks :)
#3
Seems a good price awkward though
#4
Does seem good. Heat added. I'm after a bundle with a connect after the Asda order cancelled the other day. Ordering from Germany putting me off even though the only difference will probably be the plug and potentially delivery time.

Another corcern for me is future value, but im guessing this is probley the same as uk one.

Decided against buying but voted hot, I'd rather wait till the boxing day sales.
But this is the kind of budget I have.
Very hot deal nevertheless.

Thanks. Ordered.
The box looks same as UK version & can replace EU plug with a UK easily. (it plugs into the 'brick')
Will sell the AC dlc codes, so total cost will be about the same as the Asda deal.. and I'll put my Asda refund towards a game.
Delivery est Sat 13th-Wed 17th.
Oh, I checked the rest of their lightning deals and it looks like this offer will be back tomorrow.
Thanks again!

I was tempted to buy this but was put off by the power supply/plug issue. This kind of thing would work fine but I generally like neat solutions/not having to DIY it.Had thought it may just be a figure 8 or kettle lead connection but looks like it's some kind of propriety connection so couldn't just use an existing cable.

The Halo masterchief steelbook edition is also a good price at 36 euros.

Having lived in Germany for years you can just change the kettle lead or the plug. Its really not very hard to do.

Thinking of getting this but a few things

Can it play UK games without any problems?
What do you do if you need to return it because it's faulty or something goes wrong?

Yea xbox one is region free, the question about faulty ones I'm not so sure, though within a year microsoft would replace a faulty xbox

It's not a kettle lead though. It's a proprietary connection from what I read.

The connector on the power brick is a standard kettle lead not the figure of 8 cable I linked to. The only difference is that the power brick doesn't use the earth pin but a standard kettle lead will still fit just like the Xbox 360.

Thinking about it - but the Game deal for Xbox One, extra controller, COD, Halo and Forza for £309.99 (using Microsoft Voucher) is tempting me too. You also get £7 worth of Game points.

That's also a good deal, particularly the extra controller. It all comes down to the kinect and if it has any worth to you. The games can be had for cheap on eBay due to the place being flooded with codes but there's few deals on controllers which is what makes the game deal appealing.

Yes I did want the Kinect - ordered the Asda deal with Kinect and Titanfall for £299.99 which got cancelled. The cheapest I have seen the Kinect is £55 at Cex, but that is used and it was out of stock last time I checked.

With this deal my concern is changing the power lead for a UK version, and also what if there is a fault with the Xbox, I assume it would have to be sent back to Amazon Germany which would be expensive to post.

The power lead is just a kettle lead so costs a couple of pounds to change. If it goes wrong just deal with Microsoft directly, it's really no hassle at all.

Price is coming up as 479.27 Euros so I guess it is expired now anyway?
Edit: It's back at 1830pm German time tomorrow for anyone else who is interested!

It's live again now - works out about £335 including delivery with my bank's exchange rate. Not quite as good as I thought, but if I sold the Assassin's Creed games for £35 then £300 for the Xbox and Kinect alone is still far better than any deal you can get for that in the UK

Very happy with it. Came today with the two games and also dance central so 3 games plus kinect!
Perfect deal!

Showing up as 478.47 euros = £379.42 now, so that deal mentioned above needs to be expired
#35
Superduperfantasticolociquotius deal! Folks all these European consoles are exactly the same as the UK ones bar the two-pin plug, which can be very easily replaced with any 'kettle' type plug.

Has been on the daily deals pretty much every day this week though so if people keep their eyes on it they should be able to grab it this week at some point

All english

Only the plug is european but we have adaptors :)

The deals long over - mines being delivered Wednesday. Love hotukdeals. Deals that expire days ago being given heat because people never read the actual thread.

Still not convinced this will work with a kettle lead - a kettle lead has 3 pins while the lead that goes from the wall to the Xbox One power brick has two. Maybe the third pin on a kettle lead is redundant I dunno. Easy enough to use the boxed cable and stick convertor on the plug, or take the European plug off and wire a UK plug, but not so neat.

No earth pin is required so plugging in a standard kettle lead is fine it's just unused. It can't be much more simple really - same as the Xbox 360.
