Cheapest it's been on Amazon according to Camel, I know it's better value to go for a bundle but this may interest some...

For those with a Mastercard use promo code PRICELES5 for £5 off

I believe the deal from ShopTo would be better as you get Forza 5 GOTY included too for the same price of £285:

Good deal, that seems to show an interesting point about camelcamelcamel, that the prices it records excludes Black Friday prices, as we bought one for £279.

great deal as i have £55 worth of amazon vouchers to use! might just get this but its a pity it doesnt have forza 5 download thrown in?
what would be a couple of decent games to add to this pack, was thinking maybe getting this, shadow of mordor and dragon age? takes it to £350 (£295 with vouchers) and certainly a better option than 2 AC games, forza and GTA V (which ive played and completed on 360)

SoM is amazing, but be aware if you play a lot you can finish it within a couple of days. I got every trophy within 2 days, but really enjoyed it.

I'd suggest spending a little more and going for a PS4 - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-xbox-one-vs-ps4-year-one

Went to game today to get the £319 package to be told. It was a Saturday only deal so I ordered this, dragon age and forza horizon 2. Used £55 of my vouchers and the £5 MasterCard code and got the lot for £295.
Although I did see a cracking ps4 deal in game... Last of us, GTA v drive club and cod for £350 but in the end I decided on the XBone

Comparison of consoles is crazy. If you care about specs, get a PC.

Look at the exclusives, look at what your mates are playing, look at which controller you prefer - and I am saying this as a PS4 owner.

Jumpinbeans the xbox one has the cloud and the fact that Microsoft have more money to spend. This is why the xbox 360 turned into a much better console than the ps3. The cloud (as long as you have a fast connection) could make your xbox one run a lot more powerful than your ps4. Look into it my friend and you might think about trading in your ps4.

The cloud has been consistently proven as marketing BS. If there are no details other than buzzwords, it is a scam.

For £300 you could easily build a more powerful pc and have access to a far cheaper and superior software library. Personally I'll get a ps4 or xbone when I can pick one up £200 or less. The xbone especially seems weak for its price. Yes I know its about the software etc but still its a pretty weak piece of hardware for close to £300.

seriously, just get the console you want to be playing with, or have been playing with (Sony or Microsoft), and enjoy it. There's really no point in this Xbox versus PS talk.

At the end of the day, you buy a console and have fun. All this talk of this is better than that, or my specs are better than yours, it's all counter-productive.

That's a pretty cheap price!

The 360 was more successful due to it's price, architecture and beating Sony to release with a huge window to gain customers over them. The cloud didn't have a hand in it, and it won't help the Xbox One either. Don't believe everything from Microsoft.

It's not crazy at all to compare specs between consoles. If one console has better graphics and games run at a higher resolution with better frame rates on it then you would be nuts not to at least take that in to consideration along with the other factors you correctly mentioned.

Also, PC gaming is a totally different experience to console gaming. People mainly prefer consoles because they want to shove in the disc and pick up their controller and sit back in their comfy armchair and play on their big lcd tv.

Digital Foundry pretty much debunked the Cloud could make the Xbox One more powerful myth. They interviewed lots of games developers who all poured scorn on the idea.

To be fair the fact that MS has a mildly less powerful console might make them work a bit harder on the consoles other merits. So far that is actually the case although as a PS4 owner I'm hoping and expecting a strong year from Sony in 2015.

And you can't do this on a PC?

Good price this - some great deals to be had on bundles too - I just wonder if there will be some better deals out there come January? I'm also waiting to sub £230with some games before I pull the trigger, I've got a PS4 and I still play on my PS3 Wii U and yep even the wii.. frankly I've no space left under the tv for this! PS3 might go upstairs when I get GTA V on PS4 though although the missus likes Rocksmith which I got for her for Christmas last year thanks to someone on HukD

The PC vs Console yawnfest is pointless... they both serve completely different purposes. I like playing consoles with my mates on the couch as does my missus. I do prefer RTS and RPG games on the PC though - only because I can sit in the office and play while she watches her rubbish on TV thankfully it's not a lot. I can geek out at the "uber max res and textures innit" on my own time. PC gaming is actually becoming less relevant, more couples/friends play together these days and you can't really do that without 2x investment on PC hardware and ... space! PCs also require quite expensive hardware configs to make any determinable difference to a modern console, which adds very very little to the experience anyway. My HD7950 struggles with Dragon Age Inquisition on anything over medium settings and that's with a core i7 and 16gb ram! so... my point being is you can't build a better pc for less than a console, not for gaming at least and if you do - you'll be paying out 2-3 times again on upgrades

I got a Wii/Wii U for new Mario games and party games with casual gamer friends.
PS4 well coz I had a PS3 innit
But I've always been a PC gamer, since Doom on my 486. I'll always have a gaming PC, if even to play my older games like Mass Effect and Homeworld HD when it's released.

It's not as convenient and I think you get the point I'm making. There's a lot more faffing around with pc gaming which is why console gaming is more popular.

The point is that if you really care about visuals then you should do your gaming on the PC in spite of any extra hassle. The difference between PS4 and Xbox One games has been generally arbitrary at best and the gap is narrowing further anyway now.
