You don't need a digital tuner for that mate. A manually adjusted tuner will do the job X)

Ordered. Thank you Biboboy!

Anyone know if this works on PC, I googled but couldn't find any info.

Sod it, I'll get one. Nearly bit at the £15 mark, can't argue at a tenner

This is yet another 'peripheral' that should have been built into the original console.

curious about that myself. The cheapo ones from China on ebay can be a bit hit and miss

Doesnt every freeview channel have an app on xbox these days? Guess that uses bandwidth though so good if your broadband isnt great.

I used to use the playstation one but that was not freeview HD, it worked perfect in Windows Media Centre as a dual tuner.

Nope. Tried it as I was curious ages ago

Heat, worth a punt for under a tenner

Difficult to get working on Linux no kernel support out of the box, otherwise I'd have ordered 8 to frequencies in my area.

Only allowed to purchase 1 per customer. I have two xbox kids. Hot all the same.

Except most people aren't interested in it, and it would mean a separate production run purely for the countries who use DVB-T(2). It'd make the price far higher than buying it separately.

Bargain. Mine was 18 quid.

ive had one for two years now, not bad but I just wish they would hurry up with a record option.
#27
Ordered! Saves me switching from Xbox to tv I suppose lol!

Couple of questions:

Does this do Freeview HD?
Can it be used with a PC?

If so I finally use my HTPC to record/timeshift TV.

have they not managed it yet :(? When it came out hopes were high to get it on linux tv. Was keeping my eye on this as a tuner for my tvheadend server.

Thanks for the OP for this one! Been on my wishlist since I got my Xbox One S a few months ago. Shame it doesn't record but HOPEFULLY one day that will happen. If not, it is only a tenner for another Freeview HD option.
#35
Thanks for posting, I've jumped in :D

Bought one for a tenner, will be handy to be able to stream TV to my PC which isn't in reach of the aerial.

Both rear USB on my console are used (Kinect and HD). I am not going to connect the tuner from the front USB. So a no go for me.

They have no stock despite saying it is in stock on their website, just received an email from them earlier as my order has been pending for ages, cancelled my base order and re-ordered with Game collection.

I'd imagine a hub would work.
