I've got an official play and charge for Xbox One however I have to use my second controller wired.

This will be a great back up!

I wish they'd just release an official wired controller! I rarely need to play games from a different room.

Why? Just plug a cable into the top of your wireless controller and away you go. It doesn't need batteries then.

Send it back and try again

Thanks op just ordered one can't complain at this price

Came bundled with my Day One Xbox, Cable is useful for charging but the battery packs don't hold out for long.

Heat for price though. :)

I found these batteries cause interference with my Turtle Beach XO Four wireless headphones. Fine with genuine xbox batteries
#12
Mate has these for the 360. Really not the best and the cable was a bit short although these are probably longer. I'd stick with official ones imo.

Because it would be permanently wired and should also be cheaper.

You can't charge these from the controllers micro usb port it has to be the batteries micro usb port

Save yourself the trouble and buy yourself some Eneloop's
#18
Got one of these battery don't hold charge after few uses and after a while doesn't charge at all , get official much better
#19
they will use the absolute cheapest crap in these.... in my experience it's best to go for some Duracell rechargeables and a basic little charger.
#20
I bought these last time they were on here and like the majority they are naff!

We'll I bought some anyway. Good price.
#22
These are suitable for one place and that's the bin .Mine ended up there when I bought these in February they just wouldn't charge
#23
I've bought this before and one doesn't even last 2 mins with needing the charge cable in all the time! your choice but I would get the Official
#24
All 4 of mine (2 packs) from last time charge and hold charge work as intended. If they stop doing so. It was only £9.70 minus tcb :lol

hot price but i can not recommend anyone buys these at any price unless theanufacturer can confirm they have now fixed the internal pf the battery, I brought these from argos when the xbox one first came out, the usb connection on the battery is not held in place tight enough and after charging a couple of times this will move meaning the battery can not be charged, after going through 6 replacement from Argos in a 6 week period I gave up and got a refund, i think orb know they are rubbish as the price has been dropping by around £2 a month since the new year. There maybe better alternatives out there but i went with the official batterys in the end and had no problems so far.

There's a reason these are cheap, they are crap. I bought some and the sockets went on both of them after one or two charges. Utter garbage.

However I have found out that if you use the cables that come with it (Any USB cable will do I guess but these are long) from the console to a controller, it will power the controller even without batteries
#27
Yeah these have been recalled due to the cable port going loose/faulty very quickly.

Would recommend getting official ones as these won't last too long!
#28
Good price but they don't last long. No real difference between these and the really cheap ones on eBay.

The wireless controller is also a proper wired controller when using a USB cable, unlike the 360 when on USB it does talk to the console via that lead and not via wireless.

Just received these.

Interestingly the cases are screwed shut, meaning easy access to the components inside (previous battery packs I've used are glued shut).

This means you can replace the internal batteries with bigger capacity ones if you desire. The ones inside are 2x AAA non-branded, unknown capacity AAAs.

Beware though, the contacts have been soldered to the battery ends, but it's not too big a job to remove them.
