These were £11.99 just under two weeks ago before rising recently. They then popped back up to £19.99. As seen with the Gears of War deal.

Now back to £11.99.

I didn't buy the DLC and still spent many an hour in the game and certainly got my moneys worth.

Is it worth this price just for the campaign? Very tempted but not too fussed about online, good deal though!
#9
would it be pointless just buying the basement game now ?
#10
Enjoying the campaign so far, up to level 11. After 2 years of destiny addiction, it's nice just to play other games

Build a delorean time machine and travel back to 1889. Then leave the delorean on the track and watch it smash into pieces. Stuck in 1889, there is zero chance of coming back and more importantly buying cheap games :)

Well worth it for campaign, but online and DLCs really add the hours and enjoyment

Pre owned gold edition is usually just normal version as DLC is presumed used

This is not a very good game, but probably worth it for 10 quid
#24
great game and a great price for a new copy, go for it.
#25
recall playing this loads when it came out but found it quite tedious at times. all the main bad guys were just tanks and bullet sponges. Yeah I realise it's an RPG premise but just didn't feel right.

very tempted to bite again now at this price as I read the updates have supposedly added a new dimension to the game play.
#26
Had it since day launch and around 700 hours in..it has had its up and downs but the latest 1.5 update is the best out and a fun game to play esp with friends.. Heat for the price

You know everyone is different right, good game, bad game, completely depends on the person playing it.

I've only played the first half hour but the campaign is fine and I'm not an online player and I'm enjoying the story so far. Not sure if single players need the DLC
#34
Cheers OP I'll bite at that price the updated version seems to be worth it

great game, lot of fun gunplay and missions and endgame doesn't really seem reliant on the DLC expansions. does get pretty grindy but lots of loot drops and fun gameplay stop you getting bored of breezing through lincon tunnel for 10th time in a night. plot is typical tom clancy waffle and the darkzone is a huge pain in the bum, but both can be ignored.

you need to auto-matchmake for the 8 or so missions along the storyline to get your base running. once you hit lv.30 (games level cap) you can turn up difficulty also increasing rewards and run those missions again & again with auto-matchmaking, but if you are a mostly solo player like me there is plenty to do plus even the hardest missions require no comms if you have the experience. can't speak for DLC's (first is group-based, 2nd can be solo) but only things you need any comms for are incursions (raids) and darkzone, both of which are a pain in the **** and i don't believe they give you anything better than a max-level challenge mission can.

So this can't be played totally solo and offline?
