Repost for massive price drop

Time is Power. In the aftermath of a split second of destruction that fractures time itself, two people find they have changed and gained extraordinary abilities. One of them travels through time and becomes hell-bent on controlling this power. The other uses these new abilities to attempt to defeat him – and fix time before it tears itself irreparably apart. Both face overwhelming odds and make dramatic choices that will determine the shape of the future.

Quantum Break is a unique experience; one part hard-hitting video game, one part thrilling live action show, featuring a stellar cast, including Shawn Ashmore as the hero Jack Joyce, Aidan Gillen as his nemesis Paul Serene and Dominic Monaghan as Jack’s genius brother William. Quantum Break is full of the vivid storytelling, rich characters and dramatic twists Remedy Entertainment are renowned for. Your choices in-game will affect the outcome of this fast-paced fusion between game and show, giving the player a completely unique entertainment experience.

Tempted. Was holding out for a cheaper (well, cheaper than the usual sale price) ms store copy so I could try it out on pc... but this is hard to ignore.

If you mean the Xbox store... Quantum Break isn't fully PlayAnywhere. It's cross play but not cross buy (ie: have to buy on both Xbox and PC). There was a deal for pre-orders where buying on Xbox got you a PC copy.

So another one of those game? They really need to make the distinction clear. I swear a lot of what I saw nearer the beginning heavily suggested it was cross buy as well. Although looking at the Win Store yes, it clearly is PC only. The shared achievement list is what really caught me out I think.

Rather just the xbox copy as while most of these games look great on my PC they run fairly choppy compared to the xbox equivalent X)

I think it's fairly clear now as games that are marketed as Play Anywhere are single purchase. However, QB was one of the first when they were figuring the policy out. Still annoying.

What is more annoying with QB is evening buying it separately on PC you still are tied to the cross-save. Also once one set of achievements between the 2 copies. (edit: just seen your edit on shared achievements ;))

As an aside, I really loved this game. I know reviews were mixed, but for me personally it was in my top 3 of last year.

Yeah i realised I omitted that detail. I usually look at the games on TrueAchievements to get an overview, so when I saw this only had one list I just assumed I think!

Looks great personally, different from the usual thrash of shooters you see year on year. Really can't be that bad for 7 quid!

How long until everyone got their confirmation email? My Paypal one came through instantly bit no email from G2G. I've checked junk too.

Think I may have been one of the last to pick this up, it's out of stock now

#39
Hey Ben I think you and I got the last two copies. I got the Paypal confirmation too but similarly, nothing from G2G. Maybe they'll acknowledge it tomorrow when they send the games out.

I think we did! Yeah I'll wait till tomorrow before I email them to check. The order ID is mentioned in my PayPal email so that's helpful!
Thank you :)
