Great deal. If you don't want game sell it. Well worth it for the console, 4k blu ray drive, hdr, new controller.
Whom ever chooses ps4 slim or ps4 pro over this needs to be sanctioned.
Sony didnt even put a 4k blu ray drive because they think hdr over streaming is the future when they have poor PSN lol
Its people buying this that need their heads looked at its the same console as the launch one i have under my tv and i see no need to pay £250 for something i already own it may have a UHD bluray drive but ffs its a console not a video player. I have a PS4 and a Original Xbone which ive had since launch and have a lot of games, way more than the PS4 and i still choose Xbox games over the PS4 now but ive preordered the PS4 pro because its a lot more powerful than the Xbox and its something new. The original PS4 is way more powerful than the Xbox now so the pro will kill it and the original PS4 is getting HDR gaming Tuesday so nothing special with the Xbox. The only reason to buy the Xbox slim is if you were buying one anyway but if you already own the old one you would be a fool to shell out again for the same thing. Its also not confirmed that the PS4 pro doesn't have a UHD drive and Sony will see how upset customers are and may well put one in as its a long way off launch yet

This was discussed yesterday on the green bundle - available from Microsoft Store and other places for the same price - Note this is not the Special edition BS1 that you get in the Green bundle

Say whaaaaaat! £229 for an S and Fifa....that's a pretty good way to get some marketshare back, especially as it will heavily discount old units.
I just checked and it's £249.99 with FIFA from Tesco. Not an awful deal for some.

Yeah they had an electronics code a few weeks ago knocked it down to £229. They take the cash on order though. For those that don't want the Fifa they may be able to punt it on for £15

If you've got a 4K TV go for it, but personally I'll be waiting until end 2017 for the Scorpio.

That's pretty low, even a bundle copy would be worth an easy £25+

I'm failing to see how this is a deal? - It's the same price everywhere else £249.99 for Xbone S 500Gb model with a single game (same as the fifa bundle). Thankfully I pick up mine when the Tesco deal was going.

Either there's a hell of a lot of xbone fanboys on here or people just don't know how to use the voting system.

It doesn't include a UHD blu ray drive afaik - just 4K output for Netflix (and probably store downloads). Games won't get any special treatment either - your 4K tv already upscales for you :)

Personally I will wait for Scorpio :)

Edit: I was wrong, it does include a Utd player...hmmm

The deal is that it comes with a game as the rrp for the console only is £249. I understand that other places have it for the same price with one game, the deal is the game.

I personally think that it's not much of a deal though lol.

Bought the tesco deal, with a friends staff discount it came down to £206 + £4 Quidco which I can't pass, even if it is an ugly white.

Got me scared there for a min as I'm looking to sell my code as soon as I get it. Was looking at getting around £28

i think your right. I'm don't currently have a 4k tv as I'm borrowing my brothers while he's travelling, but when I buy myself a new one i will get 4k. There's no hurry I guess.

This does have UHD drive. PS4 Pro doesn't and that is why I'm looking at this. Scorpio maybe the better option though

Apologies I didn't realise, articles I read were clearly mis informed :)

In that case I might consider one..lot cheaper than a uhd drive on its own

I may get the FIFA bundle as it releases sooner, I'll sell the code either way as not heard good things about Battlefield 1.
#32
Thanks good deal
#33
Does this mean you can play the game early or will it just sit there unplayable until release? As surely you need the deluxe edition to play early, it comes with the 1tb special edition and is one of the main features of the Deluxe edition.

BF1 is great from what I've played so far. Jury is out on the singleplayer but the multiplayer is a lot of fun especially with friends. But I'll probably do the same as I'll sell the FIFA code to a friend and buy BF1 separately.

Sony didnt even put a 4k blu ray drive because they think hdr over streaming is the future when they have poor PSN lol

As long as you're paying for the £8.99 Netflix*

£5.99 = SD (480P/576P)
£7.49 = HD (1080P)
£8.99 = UHD (2160P / 4K)

Just in case people didn't know ;)

You can almost see the tears when Sony dropped the bomb that there was no UHD drive.
