Know what you mean. One of the reasons I switched from Amazon to the John Lewis deal on the FIFA17 deal this morning

Had this in my basket at £229.99 since last night, refreshed 10 mins ago and saw dropped by £25 so finally went for one, this site has saved/cost me a small fortune over the last week :)

I'm at the same point at the moment. Don't forget though that John Lewis are doing 2 year warranty and up to 5 years for an extra £15. Well worth it as these things cost a fortune to repair.

I agree with this. The Amazon / Fifa/controller deal for £229.99 last night (I opted for) was pretty much as good as was going (for an 500Gb S). Fifa17 and Minecraft are musts for my son so adding £30 for Fifa to this deal (£235) means Minecraft (with the extras in the bundle) is effectively £5. Cheapest Minecraft is £12.99 at Game.

I bit too soon! Grrrr! Just contacted Microsoft to see if I could cancel my order and they said "please refuse the package when they try to deliver it" ... I've never heard of that one before!?

Yeah that is true good point if you want the reassurance of a warranty, think I might just bite the bullet and buy from Amazon. Otherwise I'll not stop searching and end up with nothing lol X)

Cheaper elsewhere I'm afraid.

Can someone tell me where it says you can get an extra 3 years warranty for £15?

Thanks

Thanks, but I think it is just 2 years concurrent cover which basically adds Accidental Damage. It's not an extra 3 years warranty.

Reading the terms and conditions I get the impression Added Care always runs concurrently with whatever the standard JL warranty is for a product (eligibility criteria include the purchase has to have been in the last 30 days)

and it's only for home appliances that you actually extend breakdown cover.

I did as well, customer services wouldn't refund the difference but cancelled the original order so I placed it again at the reduced price.

Buy it again (if you can expend the money) and then send the first one back as soon as you receive it. They have free returns.
