just paid £220 for this from PC world
.

do you have to actually download the game or is it installed already or do you get an actual disc as not planning to have it hooked up to the net at all ?

I checked Tesco before I bought, they were about 219.

Just wish they did the grey version with Minecraft. :(

So will wait for a decent deal on a grey one and will have to buy Minecraft separately.

Still hot from me though for people who want the white one.

Thanks. , almost paid £220 earlier. Don't believe you can buy console on it's own cheaper than this

Almost as good as the Black Friday Deal although it would need an additional Controller to beat it.. but Good Deal hot.

Good price.

I've been searching for a good deal and this sounds like the best one so far
although I'm torn between this or the 1tb version with gow from John Lewis

We bought one after Christmas, kids still use their laptops for Minecraft, I wish we had never bought it...

So sell it. you can make 80%+ of the value back.. or get the kids different games, why double dip on something like Minecraft where its vastly superior on PC.

You get paper codes, so yes you'll have to download them.

Is it better to get this from John Lewis for warranty

The "One S" is a pile of crap,I bought one just before Christmas and had more problems with it.
It struggled to connect to xbox live and when it did it regurly droped the connection, would not keep stable in parties.
I took it back in three days and got a refund and bought an older xbox one and it runs perfect.
Do research and you will find lots being sold off only a few weeks old as they are so bad.

Good price, heat added. Recently bought the 'Minecraft S', plus 3 months Live, and an additional controller from Currys/Pc World for 249.99.

Hot. Not Fifa/Forza.

I own the Xbox One S, in my opinion its superior to the original Xbox One in every way. I have had no issues at all since buying it, I owned an Xbox One day one console that I sold and have no regrets doing so. The matte finish is much better, its quieter, the S doesn't have that huge power brick that the original xbox one has and its faster/more powerful that the original too and is much smaller. Overall so far I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with the Xbox One S, if anyone is unsure I say go for it. If there are any issues the console has a years warranty with it, I have had zero issues and I have owned mine for months now.

Awww, I got one for my son for Xmas at £25 more. I guess it's still a great price as he's happy! x

Also the Xbox One S can play games in 4k upscaled with HDR and also play 4k movie discs, the original cannot do any of that.

Would Amazon price match this? I have a £20 voucher burning a hole in my pocket.

Split screen on the same tele without the chance of dodgy's trying to groom them, is a massive plus. Start playing it yourself and see if they want to join in.

We have it on every format.. why would they want to play split screen when they can local LAN on each of their PC's? I play it on XB1 but even I can see the PC version is alot better..

I take it you mean the java one? I find myself playing the Windows 10 one more now, just so the little one can connect on his tablet. Maybe one day they'll just be a single version ;)

My 's' is also solid, not one problem and it's so quiet. Love it

Even if you're not a gamer, the price is worth it for the 4K player alone! Heat!

Perhaps, rather than cueing - or commencing - the criticism, he's asking the naysayers to form an orderly queue? ;)

Lazy question as Google has all the answers anyway: is the Xbox One hard drive easily upgradeable? 500GB will fill up faster than a 10p mobile game going hot on HUKD.
#38
they are also on Ebay brand new for £189.99

you can't touch the internal drive, just get an external one. Any that is USB 3 and over 256GB is fine (either 2.5 inch or 3.5inch)

This has only dropped £5. Was £199.99 couple days ago. I opted to buy the 1tb One S with GOW 4 for £249 and 2 years warranty with John Lewis.
