I saw this in HMV Swindon yesterday. After being let down by 247 electronics and asda I'm sure this will be of interest to a lot of people. Best price I've seen with the kinect and a recent release. 99.99% certain that the games are download copies.

In store only as HMV no longer sell through their website.

What were the games? It looks like the Assassins Creed games.

Clearly a mistake the left hand pics of the console are in the wrong place should be £399.99. Very good deal if they honour it.

Looking at the bottom picture surely it looks like a mistake?

They wont. Had the same deal in the Moorgate branch and got as far as handing the credit card over and then they decided they couldn't honor it. I believe its a a well known HMV trick. As the display is in front of the store and a very convenient misprice. Did complain and eventually did get a apology email.

some joker looks to have swopped the left had pics of the xbox around.....interested if this comes off though...

Just be honest and pay for it, ridiculous to honour a human error of a staff member.
#8
I can't see them honouring this. They are not obliged to sell it to you and can just remove from sale briefly while they correct it.
If HMV are doing this on purpose, they are being very naughty bunnies.
However, I tend to assume incompetence rather than conspiracy.

cold not a deal

Looks like marketing fudge up

The picture of the xbox one with kinnect isn't even part of the same poster as the price and games, it will be this price without the kinnect
#12
Anyway it's in Swindon - Cold.

Shouldn't this be expired, no one's confirmed getting this deal and already confimed they won't honour the deal. Shame as it would of made a good alternative to the failed Asda deal :'(
#14
I've had to vote cold and it's a clear mistake that won't be honoured.

Currey, you were let down by 247 Electronics? Did you lose anything??
#16
Why do you reckon its an error? Is that because there is an xbox with kinect on the top and xbox with no konect on the bottom. The thin is tre bottom picture shows kinect on the roght hand side so maybe they just both with kinect? Just a thought.

Speaking of 247 electronics, im in the same both as most of people. Waiting for 15th to call hsbc to try and get it sorted. Not sure if i get my money back, but even if i will, a lot of stress and time wasted, yes i was let down by them and i lost a lot!

I am on the look out for a good deal on the xbone and have seen a lot of offers etc in the last few weeks, what I cannot understand is how people are willing to take a risk so close to Xmas, it makes no sense, if you have money to spare/potentially lose why use this site?
I can understand trying to save a few bob but I remember 247 threads always having people on them warning people away from this company!

Not posted this to wind people up or rub it in, but I want to know why! have I missed something here?

I have (quite a bit of) cash to spare as I'm lucky to have a good job and a tiny mortgage, doesn't mean I want to spend unnecessarily, hence why I use this site, are you saying that I shouldn't???

Not at all, nor would bother trying to tell someone else what to do, this was not a pop, I just wondered what was worth the risk?
I will simply point this out again - I can understand trying to save a few bob but I remember 247 threads always having people on them warning people away from this company!

Yeap, bought the 24/7 bundle and the asda bundle, let down on both! This didn't look like an error as there were 4 "packs" all with the same images that you take to the till to pay. However seeing the bundle below now it does look like an error. I'm popping in tomorrow so I can verify then.

Apologies, its easy to misinterpret text ;)

I guess the main issue is that people want to save cash, lets face it, there aren't many places that get raving reviews from everyone, you take the information and risk it (not that there is a risk if you use a credit card) ;)

I phoned mbna regarding my 24/7 order and asked them if they have received cancellation requests from many of their cardholders and the lady said quite a few. As I ordered after midnight last Thursday, the information on the site says that I definitely won't be receiving one, so mbna have credited the £265 back into my account. Takes 48 hours and I have incurred no interest on the £265.

I would suggest that people not wait for their refund. 5 minutes on the phone and I've got it already.
