Nice deal if you already have a HD to reuse.

Oh my god. Sigh.
No, as I believe the original Xbox drives were IDE.
No, as I believe the original Xbox drives were IDE.
No they aren't, they were SATA. I have one in my hand now.
I believe you can use your old classic HD, just crack it out the case and either ghetto style shove it in the hole, or buy a cheap third party caddy for it

Original Xbox hard drives were IDE. To state the obvious sata was possible with an adapter.
I don't know what you have in your hand anarchist, but if it's sata it's not an original Xbox drive.

I guarantee it is, I removed it with my own two hands just a month ago, from a genuine classic 20gb Xbox caddy that came with an old Xbox premium (I was upgrading it with a 120gb hd). I would bet everything I own on it.

You're talking about a Xbox 360 are you? As tarquin said the original/classic Xbox used IDE hard drives.

Yes, I am, and I just realised he meant the old old brick Xbox lol - thought he meant classic as in the original launch shape 360 lol
Yes, they were 100% IDE and can't be used with this heh
Sorted now...
