Code: WINTER10

Digital Deluxe - £16.01

Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces and XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda below and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

been playing xcom since the very first one xcom enemy unknown when it first came out. these new ones do the franchise justice. I hope they make xcom 3

I think that's finally low enough to bite. Though as history dictates it will be reduced to £4.99 as soon as I take the plunge...

Worth paying the extra for the deluxe in people's opinion?

Tough game but good fun. Heat added for the price

I don't have deluxe content. waiting for steam sale to get it. probably want to complete it on default and then complete it on digital deluxe. still not built a single psychic class so might have to try that in a new game as well as the mech ones? but I like my grenadiers!

Thanks OP. Bought this a few minutes ago and now downloading. It appears, although to be confirmed, that digital Deluxe is not just the Reinforcements Pack (which is cosmetic only I think) as stated on the website but all the DLC like Alien Hunters and others. So, if it all does download it I well worth getting the Deluxe version in my opinion.

Find the spec requirements for this a bit OTT on Mac. First XCom ran absolutely fine on my late 2013 Macbook Pro but Xcom 2 seems to exclude a lot of graphics options:

"The following graphics cards are not supported: AMD Radeon HD 4xxx series, ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, Intel Iris 5100, Intel HD5000, Intel Iris 6100, Intel HD5300, Intel GMA series, Intel HD3000, Intel HD4000, NVIDIA 3xx series, NVIDIA 1xx series, NVIDIA 8xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and NVIDIA 9xxx series"

Anyone tried this game on an older Mac and can confirm if it will or will not run?

Almost there... Just a few more pounds to be sub-£10... And about a dozen games to clear from the list...

Would have loved to play this, but I'm too old & slow to play these games anymore.

it is slow on pc too! there is a youtube video called low spec gamer. he says it runs on unreal and you can tweak the settings by editing a config file and really speeded it up o my intel hd graphics laptop... but not enough so i bought a new laptop especially for one marketing trip! that is how addicted I was!!

Thanks OP.

I can confirm that the Digital Deluxe is the one to go for. Just got it, and it has all the DLC except the (worst) Resistance Warrior Pack.

My account is still in dollars from when I used it overseas, it works out $22 after discount. Anyone know how to change it back to £?

Great price but seems the developers have broken the game with some nasty bugs with the "new" patch.

When I follow the link it shows the 'Mac' price as twice the cost of getting it on PC. but surely if I buy the 'pc' version and unlock it through steam it will be available through steam for any platform? Can anyone confirm it will work if I buy the PC version and redeem through steam that I can download and play on Mac?

According to GMG:
"The XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full base game, XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack, and the digital soundtrack."
Purchased at £16.01 with code WINTER10 as posted above.
I got "CHAINSAW WARRIOR LORDS OF THE NIGHT" as my free mystery game - retails on Steam at £4.79 apparently...

I've raised a help desk ticket with them asking the same questions. Will advise once they respond.

The Helpdesk was not very helpful and advised that it was only for PC.

Anyway, I purchased the PC version and got the code. I added the game on my MAC Steam client and the PC key was accepted along with all the mentioned DLC's. It's currently downloading, so looks like it's worked.
