I know this 3 quid more than the Novatech 5770 posted 2 days ago, but it comes factory overclocked (little more perfomance while still keeping its warranty :) ), much better cooling system and its a better known brand.

Ordered this earlier for my Nephews build. Seems like the perfect price.

£116.99 at Scan plus delivery.

Good deal, think I'll have two.........just seen a review that says two of these in Crossfire is practically the same performance as a 5870 - which is around £280.....for the XXX version.......

.......and you just don't seem to be able to get the Black Editions of the 6800 series for love nor money.......

Will do a bit more research on these cards I think.......

Not a bad price, but personally I would avoid the XFX branded cards, looking around various forums, people have nothing good to say about the reliability of their GPU's and they also have a very bad reputation for customer service.

Offset that against the increased motherboard cost, PSU cost, electricity usage, and inconvenience of crossfire not working properly in many games....

Choosing Crossfire (or SLI for that matter) in a bid to save money is a false economy.

Cheers for that. Building a project PC from scratch for [email protected] and photo processing, and definitely no games.......... :)

I just sold my 2 5770s and bought a 5850, when xfire works its phenomenal but its fussy drivers are a problem and seem to fluctuate in performance with every release. Games will work but fps varies with everygame was also getting weird issues like games crashing to desktop with no error etc.
