  Dual 6850s for ~£180 would give superior performance.
  
  I would also research on that particular the company prior to making a purchase.

  The HD7770 is new card but a poor choice crippled by only 640 stream processors.
  
  Really poor choice to buy a pair of these, a pair of 6850's is cheaper and faster (£180 + post from OCUK). Seriously no need for crossfire of 1GB cards ... you'll be VRAM limited
  
  Cheaper than a 580 or a 7970 but that because they are slower in most titles, not so much the old ones AMD agreed to sponsor testing in.
  
  Also two cards is a lot more trouble, needs to be cheaper than a single card option or much faster and this is neither.
  
  By a 6950/6970 if you must buy now or wait for the HD7870 due out soon
