** While the 5830 is a good card, this is the cheapest i've seen it at. Not as good as the 5850 and I have seen some of those for £200 in the last few weeks but the cheapest now seems to be around £220.**

Seems hot to me with the game too. Delivery is around £8 BUT you get free delivery if your a forum member with xxx amount of posts.

Meh. Personally speaking, if you are going to spend £198 on a graphics card, it's really worth spending that extra £20-£30 to get the 5850, which can be 'tweaked' to be nearly as fast as a 5870.
e.g. this one for £223 http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1GB-Asus-HD-5850-PCI-E-20-%28x16%29-4000MHz-GDDR5-GPU-725MHz-1440-Cores-DP-2x-DVI-HDMI

As for performance, this card is not much better than a 4890 or 5770, allthough it will use less power when idle ..

I agree

This card really needs to come down in price.

The game is the best part of £20 making the card £170, that was the point. and as the cheapest 5850 are £225 atm its a cheaper alternative thats still faster.....

Of course anyone with a 4870/4890 arent going to upgrade unless they are going 5870. If your going from a 4850 /GTX250 this is beter than the 5770 which is about the same speed as the 4870...

just my opinion. tbh these cards should be £140

The game is pants and not enough to make a good deal.

I would rather spend the extra and get more FPS for my £
