Not really - even if you sell it BIN for £240 + £10 shipping, which is about going rate for the XFX version on there you'll only get about £233 in your account after costs.

Plus alot of other versions are going for about £200

why the cold votes?

It's good value compared to some VGA cards but this model is relatively cheap now and this price is not exceptional; Overclcockers have a Leadtek version for £209 plus postage - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-141-LT&utm_source=froogle

Not really, this is a dual-GPU card so it's only effectively 512mb of ram. This card also did pretty terribly at high resolutions in some games like crysis (the 8800GTX had four times it's performance) but I don't know whether that was down to the low memory for it's price or whether it was a driver bug that might have been fixed now.

I bought the Evga version of this card from £205 for EvilGaming.co.uk. Was the last one in stock, great card I can get 40fps on high with crysis. Had to make a few mods on my small case to get it to fit though.. its nearly 11" long!
