Say what you will about Aria, but this is the cheapest R9 290 I have seen to date. According to many reviewers, these new XFX coolers are a lot better than their previous ones, so XFX doubters may feel a bit better.

Great bang for buck, almost matching the performance of a GTX 780 for a fraction of the price.

Should come with three 3 games through AMD Never Settle Forever program.

£290 on Amazon.

That's a good price for a new GPU, pity AMD catalyst drivers are crap. Just remember if you've got windows 8 and upgrading to 8.1 don't let it install Microsoft own graphic card drivers as you will get the black screen of death after you try to install AMD drivers again. Windows tries to look for the Microsoft drivers and fails at boot :(

Also remember to enable graphics overdrive in catalyst and set maximum fan speed to 80% to prevent the gpu from throttling.

Seems ok reviews very mixed on the temperatures some say its hitting over 90c st stock but even my msi gaming hits 85c overclocked.

It should run at 90c without any problems but if it goes higher it will throttle. I'd recommend setting it's top limit to 80c to be safe and just let the fan controller ramp the fan speeds up to 80% to keep the card and case cool. Remember to select uber mode if your card supports it aswell and to give the pc plenty of room at the back to kick the heat out.

The Warpad usually sells for about £27 by it's self, so you're basically getting it for £6 when you figure in the price difference between Aria and Dabs. Also, Dabs are slightly cheaper if you're buying 2 cards to crossfire: 549.98 vs £550.72.

Edit: I just realized that Dabs card is actually the 'Black Edition', which is slightly faster than Aria's card.

I'm hoping the unique layout of my Silverstone FT02 will help disperse the heat efficiently, otherwise, yeah, I'm going to have to watercool those suckers. Watercooled cards look cooler anyway. :)

If I had the money I would water cool the lot and bolt the radiator externally. Just make sure you don't overlook the vrm's cause they get damn hot too if you OC :)

XFX are one of the worst GPU manufacturers next to VTX, their coolers are just awful (have the 7870 xt and runs at 98 c with 100% fan speed).
