Is this the one that installs spyware on your phone and sends all your info to China?

Yes so make sure you don't buy one. (And make sure to pop your tinfoil hat on before you leave the house today).

Where does it say this? It will be good to know where to look in the future.

I used an online import duties calcuator - they normally give you 1 free credit a day. just enter good value, shipping and insurance and where from and to plus what category of goods.

I'm wearing mine right now, received within 10 days from Gearbest with no import duty or any extra charges to pay.

It's nice, has a feel of quality and the battery lasts for over a week (so far). Heart rate monitoring is not constant, though I believe third party apps are available to do this. Charging is done via a small cradle and requires removing the module from the strap.

The mii fit app is a bit buggy but works ok, you can set up notifications from various apps and the alarm feature is nice but it's an annoyance that you can't get any detail on the notification from the watch itself. For example you can set it to vibrate when you get a call but it doesn't display who's calling.

Edit - Correction, mine came from banggood.com

I would advise you to read the whole of that first forum thread that you used as reference here, as it answered your question already. It is good practice to read more than just headlines to actually understand how a product/technology works.

Also, did you expect anyone to reply "yes" to you?

Ordered. Have been very happy with my Mi Band 1S but the convenience of an inbuilt screen to track steps is a major plus. :)

Had mine for a few weeks and really like it! The app seems to work ok as well. Feels quality for the price
#22
As soon as I add this to my cart the price inflates to almost £32. Am I doing something wrong?

Price back down to £26.06 with free? delivery, less the 3%TCB. Currently over 700 in stock but seem to be going quick.

A good review here if not already seen..

If you have the 1s, this probably isn't worth the upgrade (IMO, I made that leap).

The wrist up detection is appalling.
#26
Got one from BangGood for £27. Been using it with an iPhone 6s. It's comfortable to wear and battery life lasts long.

My display doesn't work at all, not sure why. Anyone got any ideas?

I use it purely for when I cycle, have bought the app called "Mi Heart rate continuous monitoring" and links straight to Strava. Can't comment on the accuracy but it gives me a bit of an idea. Vibrates when I get calls and texts which is quite nice, and has a feature that vibrates to wake you up, which is good but turns off too quickly!

Overall the band does what I wanted it to (be a HR monitor) and I'll hopefully be getting a refund for the screen not working.
#27
Have they put the early bird alarm back in the firmware?
#28
Thanks, have taken a punt on this. If nothing else, the amount I use it will justify whether I should get a Fitbit in the future or not :)

I would be more than surprised if you get charged any duty on these. I regularly buy stuff from China and only once - probably ten years ago - was charged duty on one of those LCD photo frames.

Won't let me register :(
#31
Unable to add to basket?
#32
I was going to get one but then picked up a new Microsoft Band 1 for a good price

I must say I'm very impressed with it to the point I've put my FitBit Charge HR back in its box and am using it all the time

Just bought 2 for £57.98 from ebay. Seller was joybuy4u. Rather have ebay protection, however limited and nectar points. Upgraded from my 1s.

Can anyone who has this confirm if you can have the screen showing the time as default ( can be used as a watch).

Yes it shows the time by default if you press the button or set it so you raise your arm it displays the time.
