Blatant copy and paste below

Keep track of time and every step you take

OLED-displayTouchpadNew designUpdated pedometer algorithm

Time, steps, heart rate

The new version of Mi Band 2 has an OLED-display and a touch panel, which will make more information available to you. You can find out the detailed information about the covered distance, time, heart rate, body temperature and many other useful data with just one touch of a finger. Smart technology responds to your movements. As soon as you raise your hand, the bracelet will display the current time — easily and conveniently. Fitness tracker and watch — two in one.

New pedometer algorithm

Accurate data step by step

In comparison with the previous generation photosensitive version of Mi Band, the new pedometer Mi Band 2 is based on the new hardware platform. Now, every step you take will be clearly displayed on the screen, so you can track your progress every day.

Accurate heart rate monitoring

With built-in motion and heart rate sensor you can see the level of load on your body and more confidently plan the exercises.

Continuous sedentary work?

The Mi Band 2 invites you for a walk

In order for you not to sit still for too long while you work or read, the fitness tracker Xiaomi Mi Band 2 has a reminder system. The device will alert you that it’s time for a warm-up, which will help to improve your blood circulation and to increase your productivity. You can customize the notification interval by yourself, and the Mi Band 2 will vibrate informing you about the next short workout or a walk in the fresh air, which will allow you to get a new charge of health.

Your unique ID

Now you can unlock the tracker faster and easier

Using a smartphone on the Android platform, you can set up your own account in order to unlock the Mi Band 2 in a flash with just a fingerprint.

Calls and messages

Vibrating alert through the application

When the smartphone receives an incoming call, a message or a notification, the new Mi Band 2 will vibrate, even if the phone is busy at the moment.

IP67 waterproof level

Take a shower or walk in the warm summer rain without worrying about the operation of your Mi Band 2, because the international standard protection level IP67 makes this fitness wristband waterproof and anti-dust. The tracker is also well protected from sweat, oil and other corrosive agents.

Beautiful inside and out

Behind the perfect look of a band there are hidden the unique innovative technologies, which are ergonomically placed in the panel, created using the ultra-precise injection molding and UV treatment. Thanks to this manufacturing technique the surface of Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is scratch and fingerprint resistant.

Low power consumption of OLED-Display

Thanks to the integrated OLED-display you can access the data with one touch of a finger. At the same time the energy-saving smart technology will allow you to use the tracker for a long time without recharging.

Reliable fastening

The new design Mi Band 2 has a locking ring that reliably fixes the tracker, so you will not lose it during intense exercise or other activities. Furthermore, the strap clasp has a seamless construction, which also reduces the likelihood of losing the tracker.

New environmentally friendly material

The new material, from which the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is made, is softer to the touch, so that the contact part of the wristband will give you pleasant tactile sensations while wearing. The eco-friendly hypoallergenic material of Mi Band 2 does not block the skin breathing, which reduces the likelihood of discomfort under the strap.

Severe environmental testing

In order to be 99.99% confident that the fitness tracker will not fail under various conditions, we have made a lot of very severe tests to verify its capabilities:

128 hours at 70 °C128 hours at a temperature of −20 °C12 free falls from a height of 1.2 meters onto a hard surface24-hour test of IP67 protection

More accurate update

An updated application to the fitness tracker Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is more optimized, so it more accurately tracks your heart rate, steps, phases of sleep, weight, etc. The extended data in the “Statistics” menu will enable you to learn more about your body, as well as to view all the characteristics for a certain period — a day, a week, a month. This enables you to see your progress, which will inspire you to move forward.

Colorful band in your colorful life

Replacement straps for Xiaomi Mi Band 2 are available in a beautiful range of pleasant colors: black, blue, green, orange and others. You may choose any color that you like, and it will certainly accentuate your unique style. Adorn your life with a new bright fitness tracker Mi Band 2 from Xiaomi!

Never heard of this LightInTheBox before, is it like Banggood? Ships stuff from China or an EU warehouse? The listing is rather vague.

Google says "LightInTheBox Holding Co., Ltd. is an international online retail company that delivers products to consumers in over 200 countries and territories."

They're traded on the New York Stock Exchange which I presume has some sort of 'fit and proper' requirements?

But essentially yes, another Gearbest, Banggood or Deal Extreme, but from the looks of it with a bit more substance behind the scenes.

I ordered one from lightinthebox and paid bit extra for their 8 day delivery....... that was 3 weeks ago and tracking shows it's still in China and not moved for a week.
Might be a one off would be interesting to hear others experience.

I paid £24 off ebay 9 days ago for one. I'm hoping it will arrive in the next few days as was marked as dispatched. I like the Papal/eBay protection. Some of the cheap deals take weeks to dispatch and some never do. Don't aliexpress auto refund If not dispatched in 14 days? Banggood are the worst although they have always refunded non dispatched items for me.

Yep this one is shipping from China, no EU warehouse in the listing... Any alternatives from EU?

It was £22.92 five hours ago :)

Paid $30 for one from Gearbest a couple a weeks back. Arrived yesterday from EU warehouse, paid $2 extra for tracking (PostNL).

Rather too early to judge but so far very impressed by the tracker.

Geekbuying are doing the Global version for about £26 (non-Chinese servers). Get $4 off using "Globalband2"

Hey Guys, had mine for a few weeks now

Brilliant band, great battery life, tells you everything fitbits do but 20£ and also waterproof and also last 20-25 days, plus says the time and stuff and vibration for notifications

I highly reccomend paying for the app called MI BAND TOOLS, currently the app for mi fit when you get a message it will just come up on the screen as (APP) and does not tell you what app or such, with the app which costs £1.75, you can choose from about 10 icons, I think they will add more but has things like facebook, snapchat, messages ect, which is better then the stock app, the app has some other cool additions too

Although the vibration on the original to me the 1S felt bit more natural, this one vibration is a bit 'cheap' feeling, wish this was better then i'd say I would pay 100£ for it, amazing product for 20-30£
also reccomend a metal band which i got of ebay for 8£, feels great and just looks like a normal watch :)

Totally agree, especially on the vibration. At first I thought oh great have I got one with something a little loose inside as the vibrations make it rattle a bit but after research it appears everyone's is like that. I think it has something to do with the heart monitor.

I've had it for a week and never take it off. Got a white band from gearbest for about a £1 and a screen protector for less. Love the look up and display time option. Raise your wrist and it lights up with the time.

Mi Band tools is a must. Much more notification customisation.

Really wish they did not add heart-rate, something i really dont care about just adds cost, weight, issues, hope they add a option to add icons in future, would go back to the original band but probs will miss that fact it says the time

As someone who was looking at buying the Mi Band 1s to be mainly used as a trusted device, do you think this one with the screen is worth the price?

linghtinthebox has the 1s for £10.54 right now.
#24
...reivew ? lol
doesn't show on the vid just the link on the gearbest site :p
also, I've tried 2 desktop sites and 2 mobile but yet to find that mysterious discount box

if you just want it as a trusted device (to unlock your phone?) then I don't think the screen would be worth paying extra for.
however the convenience of it showing the time, so behaving like a wrist watch may be useful too?
not sure what the battery life of the band 1 is, my band 2 seems to run for about 25 days between charges (only 3 months old tho)
#26
It's sent from china so will take much longer and not worth the hassle IMO.

I use the 1S as a trusted device to unlock my Redmi Note 3 Pro (kate). The unlock is probably the single best feature, but if it told the time I could ditch my watch too...
I am just waiting for an excuse to get this one (maybe the 1S needs to be worn by my daughter to ensure she is getting enough sleep...?)

Thanks, just ordered for the deal price of £21.72. I used Paypal and the coupon code is on the last page before you actually make payment, so you've already logged in through Paypal, set the payment source etc, and the coupon code was on the bottom as shown in the screenshot a few posts above. You've got to remove the insurance/customs options to get the deal price.

thanks op, ordered. :O)

A question for people who have one: does it monitor your heart rate 24/7 or is it just when it thinks you're exercising?
#33
Cheers op. Just ordered for £20.49 using your code, so splashed out on the 40p shipping insurance. As mentioned above, I had to untick insurance/customs initially to get the code accepted (thanks xena_wales), but could then re-tick them

When you tell it to.
#35
A friend has the more basic version of this and it is excellent, tbh I think better than my fitbit!
#36
Just ordered this as I have been wanting something similar for ages, but it doesn't seem to have GPS. I take this means that if I went for a run with it on, I couldn't then sync the details with my phone to show where I had been?

I used to take my phone and use Runtastic, but the phone is too cumbersome to jog about with.
