Pretty sure I know which way this is going. Nearly 600 quid from gearbest. Brrr
I always knew there would be someone who has never ordered from site and comeback with other's opinion on quality of service. never mind..!!

My 240 was down the drain before from this gearbest scamsters. Beware these are not covered by manufacturer warranty due to grey import and obviously nonexistent customer service by gearworst

lovely phone, but too much of a risk to buy from China. pound is so weak against the dollar that China seems expensive now!

Interesting Phone 6.4 " and yet nearly same height as an iPhone plus @ 5.5" screen. Only let down for me is the FHD screen, would of expected QHD for the size and price, heat added for the bezel free design though.

I must admit that I had to look at the price several times to make sure I was reading it correctly. £588 is too much a risk when buying from China, in my opinion. Yes, I am bought several items from Gearbest, but the most I have paid is £60.

Each to their own, but for me qhd is just a waste of battery power & cpu/gpu on a phone. The extra resolution on that size screen at normal viewing distance is futile.

If you wanted the device primarily for vr headsets like the daydream then I get it, otherwise nah.

Great phone. Going to be in very short supply as Xiaomi are only making 400,000 month (that's very low for their market).
But the Greabest price is about £200 more than the street price in China/HK!!

My concern would be what happens to the screen after a drop! With no bezel it could crack from very slight drop IF Xiaomi haven't done something with the edges? And putting it in an armor case sort of make the design a bit pointless!

But, having said all that, my son's working in HK and is bring me one back :) (and a Note 2)!!

tasty phone specs that was kicked in the nuts by the screen... also I could never ever ever spend this much money from a phone from gearbest. when my cheap purchases couple of quid purchases pack up from gearbest I know what I was getting into... but to spend this much....

Am really tempted with this phone but a little too much for me (I'll wait until it's under £450 as my old S5 is still going strong and I suspect this will not support Three's VoLTE and 800mhz 4G band)?

If the phone goes wrong after the first few days then you are well and truly up sh*t creek without a paddle and i speak from experience. They will insist that you send it back tracked mail at your own expense (£30 - £40), then they deny ever having received it. They are simply not interested once they've got your cash. Gearbest are ok for cheap phones and accessories but you need more money than sense to risk £588 on a single item. I do like Xiaomi phones though.

I noticed there was the 128gb/4gb version, but this does not save much on the 256gb/6gb one.

Had LG G3 for 2.5 years with QHD screen, certainly wouldn't want to go for a screen nearly one inch bigger and 60% less pixels, all major flagships (barring apple) have QHD mostly, as pointed out if you used this phone for VR you would be counting pixels with 1080p stretched over 6.4". As you say each to his own. Personally I prefer 2016 resolutions as opposed to 2014 no going back in time with tech.

Great phone. It's on my wish list but not buying yet

Great price, but three things worry me:
1. Returns.
2. Import Duty
3. Camera Sensor. I've never heard of them before... http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/26/xiaomi-mi-mix-screen-camera-details-revealed/

You're limiting what you're going to purchase then. Or have China now got a cricket team?

Tempted with the phone but the camera and call quality is quite bad if it were a 200 quid phone it is fine but 600 I'm really in doubt will pass it and look at the next generation

That would be nice, but there is quite a lot of technology in this phone.

My old S5 will have to hold out a bit longer as it's still a good phone. :D

I guess you don't understand context of the conversation, you can vote hot/cold but we were talking about my writing. But I do not expect any more from someone who does not understand context as well.

I'm always suspicious of people posting Gearbest deals - over the last few days the same people seem to be posting a couple of them too
