Same deal as the other Xiaomi redmi note 3 offer posted last week except this is the 32gb/3gb ram premium top end model!
Usual pitfalls - imported from China, so possible custom tax charges, warranty somewhere in China, and limited 4g support (3g is available on all networks tho!), no android marshmallow yet, an ok camera, long delivery time and a bit of a fiddle as may need to reinstall official rom.
The plus side is that its a risk worth taking, if you like a gamble! If it works out well, you get one hell of an amazing phone for under £150! Nearest spec phone you can get for that price in UK, prob be a Honor5x on sale, Altho a good phone does not come close to the Redmi Note 3! This note 3 model is a serious high end budget phone, I doubt anything in uk comes close at that price, in terms of the phone your getting.
Possible topcashback too, makes it a bargain!

I got mine from a seller on aliexpress guaranteeing no fees for just over £170, so if fees are around £20 you might aswelll get this one and hope you dont get stung. Muddled my way through installing global rom on mine (great thread on miui forums), all seems to be ok. I really wasnt sure what phone to get, decided on this and dont regret it at all.

note 4 has the better screen, 2k compared to full HD on this (amoled too), processor should be same I think as this is a new snapdragon processor, both have same amounts of ram,

can both sim slots access 4g or does the 2nd slot just do 2 or 3g?

Yeah you can on the stock china rom, but the miui app store would seem to conflict with google play store and do updates to apps and stuff, abit annoying, look here http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html i would advise to only buy it if your happy to flash to global rom (maybe you wont mind the little annoyances of sticking to china rom)
#9
and anyone following that thread to flash i should note after you get the phone into download mode and the step about updating the driver i didnt have to do this, windows 10 64bit fully updated (i think) already had it showing in Ports as Qualcomm HS-USB

awesome answer, thanks a lot. Actually I am from China and the Chinese Rom is quiet annoying because of the AD Pushing and lack of Google Play. I was thinking buying this phone for my friend but got worry about the Google Play.
I will place the order now cheer.
I also bought a Meizu M3 Note, very exciting(because I don't like the Redmi's back fingerprint sensor)

Think on & off flash sale meant, we all purchased the same one! Both my orders cancelled days after being
in the first few.. so as mentioned in the hikd thread about it, be interesting if anyone posts a pix of an actual
unit anywhere near those prices, arriving and in hand!

Have you had the oppostyle we have taken your funds alert yet Si? Interested as got an alert via
an rss setup to poke if the stock comes back in.. eg: every 10 secs it loads the cart and buys one
but not had it flag as being in stock since wed pm uk time? Cheers

Had the RN3PP last year and is, for the price, an amazing bit of kit, never got an oppo find 7 to
play with, so that is why ordered them in the first place, as if you can get them at that stupido
cheap price, no need for any other phones!!

Great deal for a great phone. Heat added. It really is about time Xiaomi got their arris in gear and launched officially in the UK. The rip-off mobile market here could do with a good old shaking down. And no better company to do that than Xiaomi.

a got this from a superb seller on aliexpress, no import tax guaranteed by the seller, got free gifts with it and the seller even installed Google play for me and got rid of all the bloatware and Chinese apps and installed an EU rom so didn't need to install Google keyboard either.

I'd check for spyware. A lot of sellers install custom global rom which I believe also stops OTA updates

I thought it was because their phones are too similar to iPhones at present and they don't want the legal battle samsung had

I am sure that's the guy who got shot but his phone saved him. Not really a 'pitfall'

Bought my RN3 Pro from Dreami, if you message them they'll ensure the box is kept factory sealed

Some sellers insist on opening it to install their own custom rom

It's 4000 mAh. Depends on how heavy a user you are - I'm charging mine every 5 or 6 days.
